We came in here after a recommendation from our tour guide & checking happy cow. I can definitely say now, that this was easily the best Indian food I've eaten so far. We were the only people seated in the restaurant between 12:30-1:30pm on a Wednesday. The servers spoke English & assisted with the menu, which as tourists, was so helpful. I'd absolutely recommend 100% & would be rating it 5 stars if possible.

Super accommodating to different dietary needs. The server spoke some English which was helpful (especially in a not fully vegan restaurant). We ate some very tasty curries.

Guilin is a nightmare for finding good vegetarian food. This place is like an oasis of heaven.

A little gem in Guilin - Edit
Tasty food (especially the chana chaat) and generous portions. Menu is that of a typical Indian restaurant and is in English which helps. All the vegetarian dishes are clearly marked (no mention of vegan dishes but there are some - would need to check with staff). We ate really well and will come back.

The vegan options in Guilin are limited, so we were happy to see this restaurant in town! Such a great vegetarian selection with so much flavor. We enjoyed everything!

We struggled to find much veggie food in Guilin, so this place was a real life saver and we came every day. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful, with the owner/manager speaking excellent English. The menu is also in English, so it was all very straight forward.

It's right in the centre of town and prices are reasonable.
Even if you are only in Guilin for a short time, this is a must try.

Forgot to mention that as another review has notes, it's not quite in that location. It's close but opposite a fire station on one of pedestrian streets with stalls that leads to river.

This place was a great find in Guilin, and some of the nicest Indian food I’ve had in China. Lengthy menu with a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, with it made clear on the first page that the staff can accommodate allergies and special requests. Prices decent also, between 35-45 for a curry, with rice about 6RMB more.

Firstly the given address is slightly misleading as the restaurant is actually located on Ren Min Road (人民路）.

Good quality Indian food in general, the Daal fry was particularly excellent.

A huge variety of vegan and vegetarian Indian food. Their naan is super freshly made and really well done along with all their dishes. Yogurt was a bit slimy but wouldn't blame them as it's quite hard to get fresh inoculum for yogurt in China.

Pretty normal menu for an Indian restaurant and the staff speak English so you can avoid animal products. Don't use the written address, the GPS location in happy cow is correct. Good quality, yummy food.
