Disappointing environment! - Edit
The second we walked into the door and had to walk across the sticky floors, we knew it was going to be a rough rideš¤£ the whole vibe of the restaurant was very outdated, dingy, and dull. It was very dark with no energy or emotion. We had to drink out of plastic, chipped-up cups with colorful plastic straws. There was one waitress who spent most of her time sitting on her phone, eating in the back of the restaurant. Maybe our expectations were once again, too high. Luckily the wraps were actually pretty tasty. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and had good flavor. If the restaurant did some updating and maybe scrubbed their floors once in a while, Iād consider going back.

I've been wanting to come here for brunch, and it didn't disappoint! The Cauliflower Wings and Waffles were so good! I also had a side of rosemary potatoes. My mom really liked the Breakfast Burrito. I will come back for dinner next time. I want to try the Tacos.

A fabulous find by my vegan friends. Relaxed and friendly, the dishes were flavourful and so delicious. Plenty of kale makes it healthy and high fibre too. Loved all the dishes we ate and would highly recommend to everyone.

Now that I think about it, I've only ever been to this restaurant for brunch, which needs to change! Their brunch is excellent--I highly recommend the cream cheeze and guava empanadas and the chick'n and waffles. Their homemade limeades are very tasty. Their portions are humongous--if you leave hungry, it's your own fault!

Best vegan food in chicago - Edit
While this is by far the best place for vegan food in Chicago - there is still room for improvement. The flavor palate is extremely limited. The veggie burger is absolute moosh. On the other hand - their empanadas are great! As is the buffalo tofu wrap (unless whoever prepared it dumped so much buffalo sauce on it that thatās all you can taste.) I get itās got the word ākaleā in the title - but I do wish they offered some romaine. Thereās a lot of food Iād wish were incorporated in their menu - like chickpeas and mushrooms. The place itself is very cute and has a great vibe - just wish the menu featured more variety.

Traveled from MN just to go there. The staff was so friendly. It was so hard to choose what to order. We got the fried cauliflower and it was so delicious. It was so big we had to change our entree plans. I got the taco salad and my partner got avacado tacos. They were just as delicious! We both had to get a to go box. I am about to eat the rest of my leftovers now and am so excited!

All I tried was the cheese sticks at the Vegandale food festival but holy fucavwgzhxh they were so unbelievably delicious and crispy and yummy. Better than any carnist cheese stick!! Will definitely be taking a drive to eat here for my bday hehe
