Tasty but I really didn’t like the older waiter - Edit

I really didn’t like the person who served us - rushing us a lot, too fast and not giving us space, felt like in military (but I decided to not lower the points because his brother was really nice (young boy)
FYI: some cats are usually inside (for cat lovers and for cat allergens)
PS: I just asked for vegan and no butter no honey just to make sure, and this grumpy waiter said: it’s halal place. I was like: why would I care how you kill your animals?
PS2: it’s halal and alcohol free place but the people who are friends of the personnel were enjoying some nice heavy alcohol at their table after all the clients except me left😅 so yeah, just to expose them a bit as this guy made me so annoyed

the food is fantastic and really good portion sizes. the people working here are very lovely and helpful. they speak english and are easily able to make all their vegetarian meals vegan!

There is no problem to order vegan plate instead of vegetarian. Everything is fresh, tasty and colourful. We spend time in restaurant's garden - magic atmosphere and cats all around us. What more can you ask for?

Best food in Montenegro! - Edit
This is a lovely little place in Old Bar that serves vege options. I had some goat cheese with olives, roasted pepper stuffed with cheese and roasted aubergine with garlic. Everything was absolutely delicious, it was just melting in my mouth, so fresh and full of flavor! This is by far the most delicious food I've ever had in Montenegro. Also, it's a family business, and the atmosphere is really warm and welcoming, and the cheese and veggies are all locally produced.

I had the vegetarian plate (10€) and it was delicious. Possibly the best veggie dish I’ve had in the area. You can buy each element as a main dish too, but the mixed plate gives you a little bit of everything. I also recommend the pomegranate and orange juice drink! They gave a basket of bread with olive oil and balsamic before the main dish came. Nice outside dining area and friendly staff too.

While many restaurants in Bar seem to offer vegetarian food I had read about this particular restaurant before on Happycow so thats why I picked this one. The food was simply amazing. Most dishes were simple, but were very flavorful nevertheless.

They have a "vegetarian food plate" with small servings of each of the 6 vegetarian dishes they have for 9,50 euros. As suggested by our waiter, we decided to order 1 of the food plates to try everything first, and then order full plates of the two we liked best.
Read moreDishes available were eggplants with tomato, grapevine leaf-wrapped rice, garlic eggplant, rice-stuffed capsicum/pepper, egg-fried zucchini, and cheese-stuffed capsicum/pepper. All were delicious, but the eggplants in tomato were definitely the best.
They also don't serve any alcohol, but the Kaldrma Cocktail is wonderful.

Delicious veggie set menu - Edit
Lovely place. I don't think the "slow food" label is relevant at all - it's good local restaurant cuisine, simple as that. We sat outside and had the vegetarian set menu, with excellent salads, cheese, stuffed peppers, braised aubergine, and a sinfully good cherry cake. Their homemade herbal tea is delicious too.
