I nice no hurry atmosphere

The bean, olives, chickpea salad was very nice, it was a variation to a vegetarian option. The Vegan burger I had on another visit is of the popular like meat type that I would not have again, but was very nicely made and served.

People meet, talk, WiFi and stay for a long time. The only other place nearby is the Bat & Ball station café which is not vegan unless they offer a Borsch soup which was. The feature of the station is that it has been renovated though it does not have gas mantle lighting, I recall from the 1960s long after everywhere else had electric lighting. Otherwise, there is little else in the vicinity has any vegan options.

Neither are last resort places, but both are very nice.

Pros: Both places are near the hospital, Both places have WiFi, There are buses and trains.

Cons: The old part of the hospital has now closed, Cricket is not played at the Bat & Ball any more
