Best Farmers Market! - Edit
In addition to some of the most delicious local fruit we've ever had (and we've lived on and been to farmers markets on three difficult Hawaiian islands), the number of fully vegan and vegan friendly stalls for the size of the market was really impressive.
Read moreWe had Indian street food at a stall with a very kind woman where all of the food happened to be vegan except for the mango lassi. That was our lunch and it was amazing!
We also came back with vegan mac based cheese and a vegan lilikoi cheesecake that was super creamy, chocolate chip and ube cookies, and a papaya banana bread -- that stall had banana bread flavors that included mango, ube, mac nut and possibly more that I'm forgetting.
Considering the somewhat limited options in Kailua, if you find yourself in the area on a Sunday morning, you absolutely need to swing by and treat yourself. Don't skip the fruit!
