Vegan fish and chips!!!

Dont listen to the review below - it is definitely still there and still on the menu. So exciting to find classic fish and chips done vegan - super battery! yum. Fish made fr banana blossom, incredibly generous portion too. Not too expensive! Marked vegan on menu.

Pros: Banana blossom , Batter

Cons: No vegan tartare

Banana blossom v'ish & chips no longer on the menu

They do list a veggie burger, but not clear whether it's vegan.

Vegan fish and chips!!!!!

These banana blossom fish and chips were actually amazing!!!!
The chips were great and you could choose salt, vinegar, sauces - anything you like from the self serve bar.
Also vegan tartare sauce which was so good! Highly recommend.

Not nice chips and the vegan banana flower fish is average

Banana flower vegan fish and chips. Both average. Especially the chips. Would expect more from a place that specialises in it. Nice location. That’s all it has going for it.

Vegan fish and chip option!

Massive serving of fish (banana blossom) and chips. The only downfall was that there was no fishy taste, it would be really good if there were some sort of nori sheets etc in the batter.

Pros: The vegan fish and chip option, Vegan tartare sauce, Reasonable priced

Cons: Smells like seafood (obviously)

Delicious fish and chips!

Has a vegan banana blossom fish n chips with vegan tartare sauce which was so delicious. It’s not listed on their menu online just shown as a special on a board in the restaurant, great value portion for $16.50. We loved this so much we went back and had it again while holidaying in Fremantle for a week.
They also have potato scallops/potato cakes which are vegan and very yummy.

Pros: Good price, Good portion size , Lovely location

Impressive effort

It seems that it's rare to find a fish n chip place that provides a vegan meal option in Western Australia. There is a 100% vegan place called Nuthyn Fyshy which is great, but we haven't found another fish n chip shop that offers a vegan alternative to fish until we found this place. The banana blossom in beer batter was really tasty, and our non vegan friends also ordered it and said they really enjoyed it. The staff said it's cooked separately to the fish items. It wasn't oily and was well seasoned, it came with chips and vegan tartare sauce. We would always prefer to support Nuthyn Fyshy but if you aren't in that neck of the woods then this is a great alternative in the Fremantle area. The service was quick, and there's plenty of seating inside and outside.

Pros: Huge portion, On the harbourside, Good value
