Had a little hammy sammy, it was cool but really just a little nibble. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day people. Don’t be stingy.
Edit: I’ve changed my mind. It’s a good sandwich and it’s a fine size. Maybe I was just extra hungry and irritable that day.

Oh my gosh, so good

GET. THE. DONUTS. Got a strawberry banana donut (sounds meh, but was honestly the best vegan donut I have had).
Also got the vegan egg and cheese, and the ingredients were a high quality and did well.
I would give it 5 stars for the donuts, but the app won’t let me give 5 stars without the place being fully vegan

Great breakfast sando

We really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich with spinach. Unfortunately they’re not carrying mock ham right now—the proprietor said he wasn’t able to charge enough to break even on it, but he’s looking for a new distributor. Can’t say I missed it though!

Pros: Excellent tofu scramble , Solid soy latte, Friendly (and vegan-friendly) owner

Cons: If you walk here Maps might tell you to cross, Bigelow Avenue without a traffic light

Breakfast Experience

Came here as our last stop in Pittsburg before heading back to Canada from a weekend stay. It was exactly what we needed. Felt like a little local hub of the town on a Sunday morning. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast sandwich was so good and my latte was spot on! Would definitely return.

Pros: Hospitality, Customization, something for everyone, Great tasting and appropriately priced

Great breakfast !

The breakfast sandwiches we probably the best we ever had. The vegan ham and seitan steak were thick and delicious. The coffee was so good with oat milk that we took seconds to go.

They said they are closing for renovations for expansions soon, so call before going.

Amazing food!!!

I would give 5 stars if I could. It seems pretty much like a fully vegan place to me. Anything they have can be made vegan. I got the vegan egg and ham Sammy and it was delish! The ham was super thick and the cheese was melty not sticky. And the oat milk latte was fabulous

Pros: Anything can be made vegan

I've only eaten here once and got the vegan reuben with an iced matcha latte. The latte was pretty good! The reuben however was mostly, like an inch thick of sauerkraut with very little seitan. The seitan and reuben sauce did taste good though so I would definitely like to give it another try!

I came for the donuts

They did not disappoint! I'm sure I'll go back again and try some other menu items but the donuts were perfection.

Egg sandwich

Best vegan egg sandwich! So flavorful and packed with tofu egg. Oat milk latte was delicious with great coffee flavor. Wish I had a coffee shop like this back home. Husband got the vegan egg sandwich with sausage which was just as delicious!

Cute Pittsburgh Essential!

This is a place made for me. Fantastic coffee, one of the best vegan breakfast sandwiches I’ve had, awesome artwork and leftist aesthetic, and a killer record store above the cafe? I will always go to Kairbur when in Pittsburgh.

Nice find

Simple coffee shop with star wars-punk-metal-skate vibes in a quiet neighborhood. Menu has a few breakfast options which can easily be made vegan. Only non vegan products are eggs and cheese. Folks were super nice and the breakfast sandwich was quite good; enough for two people.

Pros: Simple and delicious , Love the vibes

Great veg options

I love Kaibur’s golden milk latte with oat milk, all of the vegan breakfast sandwiches, and the desserts. Vegan donuts are a treat on Saturdays if you get there in time!

Pros: Delicious food , Yummy desserts , Oat milk for your coffee/latte needs

Good place

It’s a little cafe with non-dairy drink options and plant-based food. The bagels we had were good. It’s a good place to stop by for a drink or quick breakfast.

Vegan donuts and breakfast!!!

The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. There are lots of plants and animal-themed art. I got a tofu scramble and a chocolate-peanut donut. Both delicious! I want to go back for more donuts 😍 The donut almost tasted healthy, because of how fresh it was. Also, the rye bread is great! My cousins got the avocado toast, which they gave a great review!

Pros: Cute neighborhood cafe (there’s a patio), Healthy, AFFORDABLE VEGAN options, Nice staff

Friendly staff, good food

I stopped by on a weekday afternoon while looking for a study spot. Lots of seating, friendly staff, free wifi. The man working was very knowledgeable about vegan options.

I tried the vegan banh mi and the vegan Kaibur bagel. The banh mi was excellent, better than the others I've tried in Pittsburgh. The vegenaise was a nice touch. I wasn't as big of a fan of the bagel, didn't like the taste of the vegan cream cheese. I'll have to return to try the pastries.

It was great to have a study spot with so many vegan food options.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Reasonable prices, Friendly staff

Pros: Vegan pastries, Bagels and vegan cream cheese, Great coffee

Great vegan menu, including vegan doughnuts, with soy and oat milk available for lattes. Seating is hard to find during busy hours, but worth popping in for a coffee.
