More like 3.5 stars. The breakfast included a roll with a cheese slice and some spreads, a couple of hash browns, a small bowl of yogurt with granola, and a small glass of OJ. The hash browns were great. Pricey for the tiny portions you get (around $15 USD). The Oat Milk Latte was tasty and a good size.

This cafe had amazing vegan options, clearly labeled. We went 2x for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were filling and yummy. Great coffee. Loved the tofu sandwich with curry cream sauce.

Nicest staff and original vegan sandwiches - Edit
Both vegan sandwiches were great and seasoned in an original way (mushroom and tofu). The man (owner?) behind the counter was extremely nice and recommended us to share both vegan sandwiches instead of 2 tofu sandwiches. Only con is that oat milk costs more than cow milk. Iced latte was great though!

Excellent brunch - Edit
The brunch was excellent with, among other things, mushrooms, warm fried potatoes and fresh fruit. The bread was a bit boring and industrial. The cheese was tasteless. All in all, can be recommended, albeit a bit expensive. The coffee was a little on the sour side.

I stayed at the hostel accross the street and had breakfast there everyday and the where so friendly and welcoming and provided so good vegan options on request! Really enjoyed the atmosphere there as well!

I didn't have that high hopes for this place that I had heard was vegan before. As I understand it the place recently changed owners though and the new one was very nice and welcoming and probably had no idea it used to be vegan. I had the vegan brunch and it was really well made and tasty. I can see myself come here again.

Very nice brunch with vegan butter, cheese, bread, yoghurt, frugt, cake and hot items. Oatmilk available for cappuccino. They also have vegan sandwiches. Definitely going back to try that!

I had the vegan breakfast option and a raspberry cake. The breakfast included a variety of different things including cereals and vegan cheese. The cake was excellent. However, I didn’t like the coffee that much.

Very cozy place, the guy that was working was nice. The cake I had was good. The best thing about my visit was probably that it was so calm and quiet in there that keeping up a decent conversation was possible.

Ordered the vegan brunch which came with some bread, yogurt, a piece of cake, one piece of vegan cheese, half an avocado and a little orange juice. I also ordered an espresso. Came out to 179 which I thought was quite overpriced. The food was okay, nothing special, wouldn't go there again. But, the man working was very friendly and kind and made sure that I knew everything was vegan.

Amazing brunch experience - Edit
While Kaffestuen is not entirely vegan (so happy cow won't let me give 5 stars), they are clearly doing everything they can to appeal to vegans. The signage on the outside advertises a broad range of vegan dishes, so we gave them a go.

5 stars all the way.
The brunch was a generous spread (including a slice of cake), and the toasted sandwich was really amazing.
The coffee was strong and the cakes delicious. Neither of us left hungry and prices are in line with Copenhagen/Vesterbro.
The owner was super friendly, and he even brought over a side table to hold our cakes because we had gone a little crazy ordering so much and we started to run out of room if the two-person table we chose! 😜
Highly recommend.

Good food. Two of us shared a vegan brunch as we weren't feeling very hungry, and we were very satisfied. Tasty enough. Nice to while away some time and people watch.

It's a cozy nice cafe that has soy milk and a couple of vegan cakes/cookies/breakfast options etc. For my taste, the brownie was a bit dry and they lacked any non-dry vegan cake options, but it was still nice and convenient.
