Plant based coffee shop in Friedrichshain-Berlin, serving the neighbourhood since 2018. As well as speciality coffee, Kaffee Ingwer offers a selection of organic treats, mindfully selected to help your body thrive, including granola bowls, raw cakes, super seed sandwiches, seasonal smoothies and plenty of gluten-free options. The shop also stocks a range of gifts from local, artisan producers, including candles, cook-books, natural wine and alcohol-free products. There’s also a selection of retail coffee bags and home coffee equipment. All packaging used is plastic-free, 100% recyclable and compostable. Reported closed August 2024.

The BEST coffee we tasted in our trip (and we were hunting for it...). Gorgeous coldbrew and cortado. However - the pastry I had was dry and uninteresting. You should go there for the coffee and the nice vibe though.

They have sourdough bread with spread and toppings. Everyday another spread, but if you're lucky they have spread left from the day before, so you can have two types of spread🥰. The overnight oats are delicious too.

I just went there with my mom & my sister on a hot Sunday. It’s such a sweet place to grab a coffee and chill a bit in Fhain away from the busy streets but still central enough to walk. The staff was lovely and the food amazing! Can only recommend to check it out & support this local, sustainable business!

In Berlin kaffee Americano mostly tastes like nothing. But here they do know good coffee. Both espresso and Americano taste great, granola bowl too. Plus super atmosphere and staff. Love the little local sustainable shop items too Totally recommend!

I guess I came at an odd hour (2pm) for the place, because it was empty and they were out of all of the savory options. They combined a bread not on the menu for me and it was good and filling. I also liked the oat cappucchino, but the serving size is tiny. I would come back for some of the sweet stuff!
