FRENCH TOAST WAS SENSATIONAL

Love this place so so much! They have a seperate vegan menu and it is extremely delicious! Their French toast and pancakes are mouth watering! They have a variety of sweets too that taste so good. I'd also recommend their burgers and falafel wrap!!

Pros: chef is extremely friendly, food tastes amazing

Cons: none

great food and knowledgeable staff

Kafenion has a completely separate vegan menu so everyone feels welcome.

The woman working here also knew which items from the bakery side were vegetarian but not vegan.

Pros: delicious, courteous, knowledgeable

I want to give this 3.5 stars - varied menu

I am in Moonee Ponds regularly and was alerted to this place by the previous review. It was great to have burgers, felafel, French toast as well as some breakfast options on the menu. Also, 2 smoothies. I had the mushroom burger and my partner had the felafel plate. Both were tasty and very generous servings. The service was friendly and efficient too. I’d like to try their French toast next time!

Vegans welcome

A seperate vegan menu is on display, so immediately, as a vegan, you will feel welcome. The staff are friendly and it's a great people watching spot. Food is great, beautifully presented and tasty.

I had the egyptian beans, which were not even on the menu but recommended by the staff - served with hummus, salad and pita. Delightful. I suggested they put it on the vegan menu - so if it isn't there when you visit, be sure to ask for it!

Pros: Seperate vegan menu

Cons: Serves flesh
