Just acceptable.

Many menu items are not actually available. Some food was cold. Service slow and haphazard.

Average At Best

Spotty service, some items were not available! I agree with last reviewer that some food was cold and service is generally slow and unpredictable. The dining area is very near the place people were drawing blood.

Pros: Vegetarian, Colorful, Nicely Presented

Cons: Toilets were either spoilt or very slippery & wet, Cold food, Taste can vary greatly, depending on cook's mood

Maybe tourists don't know better?

It is literally at the beginning of the street so you cannot miss it and there are not other restaurants of its type nearby so that is a definite plus. Unfortunately, the menu is pretty sparse with more pictures of people eating the food than actual food items! Ordered a banana leaf meal (out of necessity) but a lot of the garnishes were not cooked to order and seemed to have been left to get cold. Love this type of food but a little disappointing.

Pros: Good masala tea, Friendly staff, Great location

Cons: Limited menu for an Indian restaurant, Some items arrived cold, Bathrooms not working

It’s Ok

The portions are fairly big and the food isn’t too spicy. However, there aren’t many options to choose from.

Pros: Large portions

Cons: Kinda expensive compared to other places - 12rm , Not a lot of options

not bad

I don't really care about the no white sugar, no white salt kind of stuff; my tea was sweet, I'd rather have it normal, no matter what type of exotic type of sugar was used. I got a little cup of soup as a present, that was quite salty, but nice none the less. Food in general was also quite alright,

Best Organic Indian vegetarian/vegan food in Melaka

Loved the food and ambiance, it has a very spiritual feel to it with ancient chants in the background,, all organic and cooked to perfection just the way I like, not too spicy not too bland just the right amount of Indian spices.
moreover, no white salt, white sugar or white flour is used in preparation as was told by the manager, ended up eating throughout my stay in melaka at ssihat Kafe.

Pros: cheap, freshly cooked, organic

Cons: parking can be an issue
