Average At Best - Edit
Spotty service, some items were not available! I agree with last reviewer that some food was cold and service is generally slow and unpredictable. The dining area is very near the place people were drawing blood.

Maybe tourists don't know better? - Edit
It is literally at the beginning of the street so you cannot miss it and there are not other restaurants of its type nearby so that is a definite plus. Unfortunately, the menu is pretty sparse with more pictures of people eating the food than actual food items! Ordered a banana leaf meal (out of necessity) but a lot of the garnishes were not cooked to order and seemed to have been left to get cold. Love this type of food but a little disappointing.

I got a little cup of soup as a present, that was quite salty, but nice none the less. Food in general was also quite alright,

Best Organic Indian vegetarian/vegan food in Melaka - Edit
Loved the food and ambiance, it has a very spiritual feel to it with ancient chants in the background,, all organic and cooked to perfection just the way I like, not too spicy not too bland just the right amount of Indian spices.
Read moremoreover, no white salt, white sugar or white flour is used in preparation as was told by the manager, ended up eating throughout my stay in melaka at ssihat Kafe.
Pros: cheap, freshly cooked, organic
Cons: parking can be an issue
