All tofu and soy meat

We went here for all you can eat buffet lunch. Around 1pm. They had a small salad section with salad and cold served food. Although they had quite a selection of main dishes, they all consisted of tofu and soy meat cooked in lots of oil. They had white and brown rice and two different soups. After all the good ratings and lovely pictures I was quite underwhelmed. Price/performance is okaysh, except you want something else to drink than water, bc. it costs extra. You can do it once but no more. (hopefully the a la carte menu is better)

Pros: All vegan

We found the food amazing. Set meal was a buffet and all dishes were labelled including gluten free. Excellent.

Pros: Very tasty, Clear labelling

Cons: not obvious from road as upstairs.

Great value organic buffet

I came here twice when I was in Tokyo and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Lunch buffet was Y1600 and dinner was Y2300. Given that this is Japan, I found this really great value for money, particularly since this is an organic buffet.

The spread is not very big, but good enough. There were around 6 cooked dishes and I enjoyed the soy meat and tofu dishes very much. The salad greens were very fresh and had some interesting Japanese greens which I never tried before. I also like the multi-grain rice and the pumpkin miso soup.

The buffet comes with water and soup. You can top up another Y500 for coffee, tea and juices.

Dinner and lunch was pretty much the same, except a few cooked dishes. The extra for dinner was desert. Lunch is more worth it. But in my opinion, Y2300 for a buffet dinner in Japan is pretty good value too!

It is found just one block away from the Tobu train station and very close to Sensoji temple.

Credit cards accepted in restaurant.

Pros: good value, fresh, organic, convenient location

Cons: close early for dinner

very yummy

It was very easy to eat here. We were tired and hungry after a v long journey and this was a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Everything with soybeans was amazing. Couldn't work out what holy tea is but it was nice. 4 stars because they'd run out of a few things.

Pros: speedy service, central location

Cons: had run out of a few dishes, shuts early - at 8pm on friday!

Disappointing

Firstly, if I had known it was a buffet I would not have come. Buffets are not my thing. For being a buffet, it was vastly overpriced. Everything was an extra. Vegan burger, desert, even drinks. Nothing except the carrot pumpkin miso soup was unique or above a level I could make myself. The one plus: unlimited seconds. Which is good if you are really hungry. And reeealy like soy. Literally, every meat substitute was soy.

Pros: Good location, Good soup, Unlimited seconds

Cons: Overpriced, Boring taste, lazy homemade quality, Too much soy

Great vegan option, although a bit greasy

For a day trip to Asakusa this home style Japanese buffet is probably one of the best, if not the best, vegan options around. Abundant, mostly organic, and fairly priced (about $14 per adult), it will doubtlessly be a wonderful culinary experience.

Their buffet lunch includes soup, salad, rice, and main dishes. The salad is a salad bar type system where you make your own salad. They have two soup options. One is a vegan miso with pumpkin and carrot, and it is absolutely amazing. We were stuffed at the end of our meal, yet could not resist having another half bowl. The rice can be either white or brown. Although the brown is not regular brown rice, but a bit more mocha colored and with these tiny beans. Also delicious. Soup, salad, and rice can be eaten without limit.

You get one opportunity to serve yourself only once from the main dishes. These were sadly quite disappointing. Their mains are options like plain fried tofu, fried tofu with some odd vegetable and a sauce, sautéed eggplant, rice with some sort of bitter seasoning, and spicy rice noodles. What I disliked about the main dishes was that not one was healthy. That is, they were all unappetizingly drenched in oil. The noodles literally made a pool of oil on my plate, as well as being quite spicy and not labeled as such.

Overall we really enjoyed our meal here, but we based it off salad, rice, and soup because the mains were truly much too greasy for our taste. I have nothing against someone liking fried foods, I simply wish they had at least one main that wasn't covered in oil. They could have easily grilled as opposed to fried their tofu. Oh well.

The restaurant itself is very nice. Located on the third floor of a building, it's full of light as well as clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very nice, although they speak practically no english, and their setup is neat and user friendly. They even have a napping space as well as a Muslim prayer space.

Pros: quick, good soup, friendly staff

Cons: food is too greasy

Awesome Buffet!

We were planning a visit to Senso-ji so we stopped here first. What a great choice! Such a great buffet with a lot of choices (raw veggies, lettuces and cabbages, at least 5 main dishes, two rice choices, two soups). Friendly staff and a very nice space. I would highly recommend Kaemon.

*on the top floor of the building, use elevator accessible from outside to access.

Pros: All Vegan

Have the tofu!

All you can eat buffet with a range of different western and Japanese type foods. The flavoured fried tofu (3 types) was amazing, I could have eaten tons of it! So tasty! Not cheap but you could have as much as you wanted and it was all organic and very fresh, they refill the serving dishes frequently.

Pros: Not crowded

Really enjoyed it!

Went there on my own and then again with my Mum (vegan) and really enjoyed it. Enough range of food, you can have multiple plates and the staff were friendly. It was quite quiet both days I went (we were the only ones in there one night), yet the food was replenished quickly and was hot. Highly recommend! It cost 2100¥ each without tea.

So many great options!

Such a great little place! It was buffet style so more on the expensive side (since I don't eat very large meals) but everything was great and the staff was so friendly.

I needed to kill some time before my next stop and they were really nice about me just hanging out for a while, grazing on fried tofu, veggies, and really really tasty tea.

Lots of super healthy options if you, like me, felt kind of nutrient starved in Japan after several days.

Pros: Amazing flavor in the prepared dishes, Healthy veggies and grains, All-vegan staff

Cons: Pricy, but it's a buffet

Cozy but open space with good food

My friend and I went there and had the buffet (1600 yen). The staff spoke English and were really nice and friendly. There were lots of foods to choose from, soy meats, vegetables, miso soup, and both white and brown rice. The atmosphere was really calm.

a wonderful vegan haven

This restaurant provides absolute beautiful vegan cuisine and showcases amazing Japanese produce- it is a must for any foodie regardless of dietary choices. Food is served as a buffet with optional meal add ons and a drinks package that you can add on as well. There is a salad and fresh produce bar that is lovely- the roasted taro with sesame dressing is delicious. There is a rice bar with white, brown, and brown with bean rice. Free water. A tofu bar with a number of different tofu and bean curd dishes.

Good oriental vegan buffet at reasonable price

This is the best meal I had in my 11-day holidays in Tokyo and the surrounding area. It is a buffet lunch including main dish soup salad at very reasonable price of 1600 nett Yen. The food is very good and suitable for all types of veganism as it is organic and oriental vegan (without the 5 pungent roots). It is also a certified halal restaurant.

Highly recommended when you are in Tokyo. It is just next to Asakusa 淺草subway station. Closed on Tuesday

Great food

Food is great and they have free flow of salad, soup, and some really great tasting beverages like detox tea and soy milk tea. I don't know what some people are complaining about having to pay more than 1000 yen for a meal. Food is not cheap in Japan to begin with! I'm thankful for vegan place as it is!

Pros: Free flow of really great tasting beverages!! And
