Probably the best food of our trip so far. They asked about the spice level we wanted which was great as we don’t like it hot (some might, we don’t!). We had two curries and shared a naan and a rice all was absolutely delicious. Really quick and friendly service. Would definitely go back.

We had the Aloo matar which was a gravy sauce with peas, potatoes and onions. I still think about the food because it was so tasty.

We asked for naan without butter but unfortunately it came with butter on top. So I think when you order something you really have to make clear you want your food vegan.
This place is a bit pricey but the quality of the food makes you forget about that. Also the quantity is really big. For us it was more than enough to share a starter and a main dish with naan.

Never had such amazing vegan food. The owner and his family are very friendly and he knows exactly what's in his food. Many vegan options and he veganized a not vegan meal for us😄

Should be a 5 starts review but the app doesn’t let me put 5 starts if is not a fully vegan/veggie restaurant. With that said the food was amazing so many vegan options, the owner knows how to make the dishes vegan, he even explains all the ingredients. The Garlic naan was AMAZING! Everything was so tasty and delicious. Super friendly staff. definitely going back again!

Okay Indian food at an okay price - Edit
Definitely not the best Indian food I’ve ever had but we had a craving and K Himalaya satisfied it. The veg samosas were probably the best part of our meal. the palak paneer and channa masala weren’t bad but lacked the depth of flavor and spices we usually look forward to in Indian food.

Tastiest food on Koh Lanta - Edit
We’ve been to this restaurant twice during our stay on Koh Lanta. The staff knows what vegan means. When you ask they point at the dishes on the menu that are vegan, or can be made vegan. They are incredibly accommodating, and even made us a delicious vegan garlic naan. They deserve 5 stars in my opinion.

This place has tons of vegan options and the owner/chef is so accommodating to all types of diets, personally making sure everything is made to request. Food takes a little longer to come out but makes sense with the amount of care they put in.

Excellent Vegan Indian Food on Koh Lanta - Edit
We walked into K Himalaya and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Vegetarian items are clearly labeled but we inquired about vegan options. The owner understood what vegan meant and immediately suggested what items in the vegetarian section would be good to order vegan. He made all dishes fresh to order and they were delicous. He even made us garlic naan with coconut milk! Far better and more flavorful than any indian food we have had back home in Los Angeles. A really solid option if you are vegan or vegetarian on Koh Lanta!

Definitely recommend coming here! My partner and I tried the dahl and aloo gobi which were both delicious and full of flavour. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and so happy to point out the vegan options and accommodate. We thoroughly enjoyed not only the food but also the experience of dining here. We have already decided we'll be coming back here at least once more on our short stay in Koh Lanta.
