Decent

Very limited seats. Had to sit at the bar (was full by 6.30pm) and the table behind us was OBNOXIOUSLY loud. (The tables were only about 2 feet from the bar)

Thr food was just ok. The Moroccan cigars were great, but the pasta was incredibly bland and in desperate need of salt. The pizza was ok, but the vegetarian one my friend had wasn't cooked properly and was very sloppy.

Limited wine menu.

Cons: Very limited parking, Very limited seating

Perfect

SO happy that we finally have a sexy little vegan wine bar on this side of town. The food is delicious, the decor and general vibe are cool without being pretentious, and the wine cocktails are so good. I love it all!

New "hidden" gem

We saw the HappyCow notice that this place had opened up today in Frogtown/Atwater Village by the owner of vegan bakery Just what i Kneaded. They had wondered what to do with the space next-door for some time and decided to open a wine bar.
Amazing doesn't even begin to describe the food here, and that is not even including the ambience which is like a dark Parisian bar with beautiful plush sofas and pink and murals.
We started out with a Prosecco and red wine, the peach salad and the polenta with meatballs and a side of olives.
All the wines are vegan and I believe most are biodynamic/organic.
I am prone to hyperbole when discussing food at vegan restaurants because I'm so happy they exist, but truly that salad was amazing, and the polenta was one of our best vegan dishes ever, and I mean ever. The marinará sauce was SO GOOD and the Beyond meatballs were so flavorful, polenta was the best either of us has ever had. Yes, really, that good and so unexpected for us who thought we were just going for a couple glasses of wine.
The bartender was so sweet and we talked about the origins and how everything in the place was done locally, From the barstools that an aunt helped with to neighbors painting the wall mural etc.
When we were there they had a steady flow of people coming to visit, it was perfect, not too crowded but Lively.
We are so excited about this place and I cannot recommend it enough. We can't wait to come back to visit the vegan bakery that we just learned of in our backyard as well.
