I ate there three times and enjoyed everything. There are too many good options to go only once. It is on the more expensive side for Chinese food but not unreadably high and is worth it.

I honestly expected to 'just get by' with food while travelling through China, but my Shanghai experience was nothing short of exceptional. Jujubee very much fits in that category, with a huge and really intriguing menu that was incredibly hard to limit myself to a reasonable amount of food, super friendly and efficient service, and a beautiful space.

The menu here is huge and if you're not familiar with Chinese style food it can be hard to navigate and know what to choose! It is also not labelled with what is vegan or not - I checked with the staff when ordering and it appears almost everything is vegan. If you stick to vegetable based dishes you should be fine. There are quite a few mock meat dishes there too which are not my thing. The fried lotus root dish I ordered had thin slices of fake meat inside which I wasn't expecting - probably due to me not having an understand of what the dish was!

The restaurant is spacious and modern, good service and free refills of jasmine tea.
