Cute place - Edit
The restaurant and it's owners are so cute! We tried the burgers which were okay but you can get better ones from the opposite side of the street. Actually the burgers are very much alike but bit more expensive here. Nice vibes and healthy smoothie options which we didn't try though. Could be better and have more options on the menu.
Pros: Sweet staff, Okay food

centrally located vego restaurant with vegan options - Edit
the restaurant is located a few minutes walk from Thapae Gate ... there vegan options and lots of drink options ... the vegi burger (฿110) with condiments in side dishes was nice and the massaman curry with brown rice (฿90) was very good ... staff were polite but the interaction was limited to their taking my order and me paying the bill (to me it's worth an extra star when staff make you feel welcome and engage in some conversation) ... moderate pricing given the quantity and quality of the food
Pros: good location, vegan options, reggae music
Cons: no wifi ... staff not interactive with customers

Disappointed - Edit
I came here as I heard many good things about their Vegan Burgers. I cannot really support this recommendation and was honestly disappointed after all that I've heard. I found the portion seize very small and the Burger pretty tasteless especially considering the price...
The staff also appeared very bored.
Overall not a good experience.
Pros: -
Cons: pricy , taste, small portion

Hip cafe in Old Town - Edit
This is a cozy little veggie restaurant with funky decor, nice reggae music playing, and two resident chihuahuas. Menu has western and traditional Thai items. Vegan items aren't clearly marked but staff will tell you if a dish can be made vegan or not. Staff speaks good English. Veggie burger was decent, not too flavorful but well formed and didn't fall apart like some veggie burgers tend to. Khao Soi was more tasty and well seasoned.

Let down - Edit
A very disappointing visit, this place was recommended to us several times. We Ordered vegan sandwich, smoothie and sweet and sour veg dishes.
- Pineapple in sweet and sour was off, rice undercooked.
- Ketchup was off
- Bread in the sandwich was off, as i could taste mouldy edge of the bread
smoothie was great though
Pros: Atmosphare was great, funky music , staff was friendly and good level of english
Cons: food was off and didn't taste particularly good

Disappointed on their vegan burger - Edit
We went there because the vegan burger looked so good in photo.
We order with additional avocado but it just taste blunt and does not worth what we have paid for at all.
Do not recommend the burger here.

Very friendly staff
Veggie burger was undercooked and mushy – average tasting yet the condiments were great
Ginger-pineapple-beet and apple freshly juiced was very refreshing
Pad Thai was fantastic!
Mon-Sun 8:30am-7:00pm
Pros: Friendly staff, Great Pad Thai
Cons: Under-cooked mushy burger

Had great pancakes and really good smoothies there for breakfast! Also tried their Vegan Burger and Sandwhiches, which I xan both recommend. Prices are a little above cheap.
Pros: good understanding of veganism, nice owner

Not as welcoming as it was - Edit
We've been there several times a year ago and loved that restaurant. It was one of our best addresses in Chiang Mai. As we're back in Chiang Mai, we wanted to go back there. And after a few time we found the restaurant closed for no reasons we ended up by having a breakfast there.
The food was still good but the staff is just not fun... It seemed that they were bored and barely answered nor smiled.
So, we were a bit disappointed about that lately. Too much success maybe or just bad days?

great vegan banana pancake - Edit
We had the vegan banana pancake which was very good. The woman working there was alone so it wasn't the quickest service, but that was ok. She served us butter but realised we don't eat it so we got peanut butter instead. That was nice! The juice we got wasn't fresh though.

Decent flavours - Edit
Had a very nice khao soy here (traditional Chiang Mai coconut curry soup).
They don't have very much to offer on the menu and so I had a rather stodgy burger to go with my soup.
Pros: Decent flavour Thai food
Cons: Stodgy burger, Small range of dishes

Attitude - Edit
The third time I went there I was starving and wanted food as I just got out of class (they close super early too) but they did not tell me until after I ordered a drink that kitchen was closed. Which I said that would of been good to know before I ordered a drink. I had just come from India (6 months) and in India you needed to remind the people making the juice not to put sugar in the juice and you also have to tell Thais too since it's habit. I said it three times and I know it's a lot but after coming from India usually three times was needed. The manager was so pissed I reminded the lady three times that she said, " if you don't like us or trust us don't ever come back. I wasn't being rude but just repeated kindly no sugar. I said no problem I'll never come back. I haven't gone back since. I don't need to be treated like that and I think she's forgetting without tourism she would have no job. I also worked as a waitress and would never have this attitude. Otherwise food is good although I only had one meal. It's suppose to be organic but you can't really verify. They had a pet kitten and dog in the restaurant.
Pros: Good food/juices, Suppose to be organic , Nice atmosphere
Cons: Attitude, Close very early

Tasty and healthy smoothies, but a little pricey - Edit
Many street vendors in Chiang Mai add white sugar to fruit smoothies to make them taste better. Juicy4u's mango, banana, pineapple smoothie with added spirulina was free from added sweeteners and tasted much sweeter and fresher - they clearly use high quality, ripe fruit. At 80 baht, this was a little bit pricey for my frugal taste, but it makes for a nice occasional treat. The place was full of tourists, so you can hardly blame the Thai staff for taking advantage of vacationing westerners with money to blow.
Pros: Fresh, Healthy, Cute place
Cons: A bit expensive, touristy

Decent place - Edit
I had a soup and mango cheesecake. When ordering the soup was claimed to be vegan, later when I asked it had egg noodles so it was changed to rice noodles. Maybe I had cold but I couldn't enjoy the full flavor which was disappointing given the slightly higher prices (155B for the two items). Lots of western backpackers around me. It obviously is popular. However, given there are lots of nice vegetarian places in Chiang Mai which I liked more, I doubt I will be visiting this place much. It is just a matter of personal taste. Walls near my seat had TripAdvisor's high ratings pasted.
Pros: Centrally located, Offers a lot
Cons: Somewhat bland, High prices

So good!! - Edit
The freshness of the veggie burger really stood out to me. It's one of those meals that's so good, it just makes you smile once you've finished.
The only time I've ever tasted bread as good and as fresh as the bun, was when I used to bake my own and eat it right out the oven. And that same quality carried over to all of the other ingredients.
I loved the selection of juices too. I got a shot of wheatgrass for the first time in my life. And having never had it before, I really can't comment on how it's supposed to taste. But it tasted fresh and healthy.
It's a little more expensive than you'll pay elsewhere, but it's worth it for the quality. It is that good.
To contradict some previous reviews, I saw no mention of meat being available, and I found all of the staff to be incredibly friendly and attentive.
Pros: Veggie burger

not vegetarian - Edit
Was about to enter when I read " pork, chicken and fish also available". Tired of these so called vegetarian health restaurants that want their cake and eat it. You cannot be both. There is no respect for the real vegans who do not want to smell the flesh of burning bodies whilst eating their veggies.

Coffee and vegan cake - Edit
I have been here many times and tried all the vegan dishes they have in the menu. I haven't tried yet all the drinks as there are so many options and combinations of fresh fruits, veggies, spirulina and wheat grass. Juicy for you is probably my favourite vegan restaurant in Chiang Mai: always fresh, tasty and super healthy! My favourite dish is the Kao Soi (you can ask for a vegan version with rice noodles). This place is also perfect for a coffee&cake break. The quality of the coffee is very good and they have a small selection of raw vegan cakes, cookies and chocolate truffles. The raw vegan mango cheesecake is my favourite.
Pros: Quality of the ingredients, Friendly staff, The best smoothies in Chiang Mai

VEGGIES BURGER - Edit
The veggie burger here is insanely good! The bun is freshly toasted and amazing on it's own. The sauces are homemade and spectacular. If vegan, don't eat the white thousand island like dressing... they will sub it for anything else you would like. The green curry is good too! They give you organic brown rice.
Very accommodating to low fat vegans. Just request no oils, nuts or salt.
They have an adorable pups named Mango! Superrrrrr cute! :)

Juices not great, poor service attitude - Edit
I ordered a carrot, celery and parsley juice in the hope of getting a healthy green juice. Result was 90% carrot with minuscule amounts of celery and parsley. When asking whether I could a greener juice, I was told that "this is our style", along with a shut-up shrug.
I had planned ordering more, but decided against it given the unfriendly attitude.
Pros: Natural juices
Cons: Not great juices, Unfriendly attitude

Nice, friendly little cafe - Edit
This little cafe has a good build-your-own smoothie/juice and build-your-own sandwich menu that is fun and delicious. The whole wheat bread is very nice and generally the sandwiches are quite tasty. They also have a comprehensive thai food menu that includes pad thai and curries etc. I've enjoyed the food I've gotten there and the people who run it are extremely friendly. Can't speak for the soy milk as I didn't try to order it. Will definitely go back!
Pros: Good food, Friendly service, Creative menu
Cons: Nothing comes to mind

Good food and nice place - Edit
I like this place. They did have soymilk in the end of March 2014 for coffee (but I didn´t check the brand if it really was vegan). Porridge is good, banana-coconut-ginger smoothie is great and so is som tam, khao soi was good (I did not check if the noodles were vegan). Also I got what I wanted when I ordered a salad with my chosen ingredients. Service is good. Coffee could taste better. Raw chocolate was good but very expensive.
Pros: good food, good service, nice place, good location
Cons: coffee is not great

No soy milk - Edit
Not sure how this place made the HappyCow list. I expected a retail establishment like this to have soy milk but it doesn't. Honestly you can get juice anywhere in Chiang Mai and it's better and a third of the price. Save yourself a trip!
Cons: No soy milk, Expensive given the locale, Not tasty

Small but cozy & healthy - Edit
Good prices, many menu options includes superfoods you can add to huge choice of juices and smoothies. They also have thai food, mix veg & avocado salads, pita and sandwiches with fresh salads and breakfast options. They have no wifi, the staff is nice and super friendly.
Pros: nice price, good quality
Cons: small place, no wife

meh - Edit
Not sure what the fuss is about. Had the kao soi which was utterly flavorless. Good portion for 70b but it was terribly watered down. I've had fantastic kao soi in Chiang Mai and this PALES in comparison. Nice folks there and lots of juice options but the food was disappointing. I get the impression most folks go for their sandwiches which looked far less impotent than my Thai dish. Oh well.
Pros: juices, nice staff, large portion
Cons: flavorless food, small restaurant

Not just juice; lovely cared-for cafe - Edit
We loved this place! It's a small, cute, colourful cafe with inside and outside seating. The team running it are all very friendly and welcoming. There's a really good atmosphere and everything feels genuinely cared-for with loads of decorations and even the toilet area is like a little garden (and still clean, unlike many thai cafes).
Their range of juices and smoothies is good, with some unusual ones as well as the things you'd expect at any juice bar. And, brilliantly, they will make the drinks with soya milk instead of dairy if you ask.
The food is all veggie and staff seem aware of what's in everything as they make it all. The menu is quite small but ranges from sandwiches with up to 10 fillings, though burgers and toasties to thai dishes such as Kao Soi. Everything looked and smelled great as it came out of the kitchen and the meal we had was excellent.
Also, it is now open until 9pm.
Pros: atmosphere, flavourful food, soya milk smoothies

Fresh, healthy veg food made with love - Edit
This colourful cafe is really cute with very friendly staff and the best vegie burger in Changers! The side salad alone makes a refreshing change, let alone the condiments it comes with (pumpkin & sesame, salsa and aoili which I didn't try). I tried to branch out to try more dishes on the menu but this vegie burger got me almost every time, breakfast or lunch both worked for me! Add avocado if it's available for 20B.
My partner ordered a pancake with banana and mango. It was the thickest yet still fluffiest pancake either of us have ever seen. Apparently, it was light and very tasty but too big to actually finish.
There is a huge choice is relation to juices or shakes. Spirilina & wheatgrass are also available.
Coffee is pretty good although possibly better across the road at Dada. Same goes for the smoothies.
The sandwiches or pita both look good and you can select your fillings from around 10+ ingredients.
The Thai menu is fairly small but all around 70B for memory. I had vegan pad Thai and unfortunately it was pretty oily but had good flavour. Massamun curry was tasty with tofu.
The staff are really great and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. Located right behind the Elephant Nature Park office on the east moat of the old city, its easy to find. Try it out....... you will be back :)
(I have a couple of photos and will try to figure out how to load them as I'm new to this great app)
Pros: healthy and fresh, great staff, the vegie burger!
Cons: small Thai menu

Wish we had time to come again.. - Edit
We tried this place for lunch one day and were planning on going back to sample more but alas, tomorrow morning we fly out and they are already closed now :(
Funky, bright little cafe in an interesting area of Chiang Mai. Again, wish we had time to explore more - the place across the road also looked to be veggie. Loved the fact that you can choose which veges you want to include in your whole wheat pita sandwich. We chose lots of different veges and were pleased to be able to dose up on freshness (not always easy in Thailand!).
We also tried some local dishes and all were really good. Not a huge selection but more than enough to keep you out of trouble for a few visits at least. Up there with the best in Chiang Mai for sure.
Pros: funky, fresh, fabulous flavours
Cons: none
