My favorite in Manila - Edit

Located in The Collective next to Wabi-Sabi, Juicesabel is a charming vegan restaurant in an underground atmosphere, managed by friendly young vegan people. The short but well-chosen menu offers fast food (burgers, pizza) as well as Filipino dishes.
Their patties are tasty, the pizza yummy, my friend really liked the mushroom sisig and its "egg"...
And it's the best value for money you can find!

I will go back - Edit

Unfortunately we arrived on a late. Saturday afternoon and they had runned out of desserts. Also juice options was very limited. However we had a delicious and massive vegan cheese burger!! I also ordered a take out (red rice with mock meat and mushrooms) that was delicious as well. I will definitely go back to try something else and their desserts! Recommended. Not easy to find though. Look at the picture and you will find directions.

Pros: Vegan 100%, Tasty food, Cheap

Cons: Not easy to find

The BEST!!! Not to be missed! - Edit

This is a quite small location. Just a few tables, BUT there is nothing small about the food. The whole operation is absolutely stellar! First, they go all out by making all of their plant-based protein substitutes. It's not all frozen soy patties here, baby. They make the burgers and ground "beef" themselves, and the chicken adobo is made of banana heart! I never even knew what a banana heart was(hint, it tastes like artichoke heart) before we tried it with them. Don't even get me started about the vegan then made just for me to taste it.

Do yourself a favor and jump in a taxi right now.

Take a taxi to Buendia Station on Buendia ave. If you're facing north, take a left on the northwest corner(it's a big intersection). Turn right on Malugay at the 7-11. Just past the hotel on your left, there's a dark noisy strip of restaurants. This is a block of shops. Walk in and go to the back right corner. There you'll find Wabi Sabi and Juiceabel side by side!

Pros: Too many to list, Staff is informative and friendly, Tried 7 menu items and loved everything!

Cons: I'm not eating there right now., I cry because it's 8,000 miles from my house., I'm still not eating there right now.

amazing burger; very friendly - Edit

The double cheese burger was super guilty and very convincing. The cakes are nice, a tad sweet but overall very moist and good. Will return.

The place where everyone knows you - Edit

Juicesabel is perhaps the tiniest vegan cafe in Metro Manila however, this is where most vegans in Manila get to know each other. Sort of like Manila's version of Cheers.

They serve the best vegan burgers at an exceptional price too. Must try: Longganisa (garlicky sausages made of beets and carrots), cheeseburger and taro ice cream

Pros: Great value for money, Large portions, Free 2nd servings for diners

Cons: Small space and lack of parking, Sometimes inconsistent with food quality
