Good food

This was a good place to grab some vegan food. They have a huge variety to choose from. The burgers and enchiladas we got were nothing groundbreaking, but tasted good. 4 stars because it’s quite pricey

Pros: Lots of options , Good food

Cons: Very expensive

Lots of great choices

Don't let the name fool you. This casual restaurant has a full menu of vegan sweet and savory food choices, as well as fresh juices and smoothies. I enjoyed waffles for a late breakfast, while my daughter got an indulgent vegan Benedict choice. Your only problem will be deciding what to order. The service was fast and friendly. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. It's not a more formal restaurant with servers.

Pros: Excellent vegan food, juice, and smoothie options, Small and casual, Convenient to the airport for travelers

Cons: Nonvegan food is also available

Probably your best vegan variety in El Paso

I'm just visiting for 2 weeks but I'm thankful Juicery Plus is here because vegan options are limited in this town. Mostly positive experiences with the six different items I've tried, but I would definitely suggest getting sauces on the side and being aware that they err on the side of richness, so if you don't like rich sauces, choose wisely. I couldn't finish the Vegetable Curry Bowl because there was enough coconut milk in the sauce to flavor a dish for four people (way too rich for my tastes). The Wild Mushroom Tacos were very good but also were drenched with some kind of crema sauce that ended up feeling very heavy to me. The Classic Burger and the Veggie Sandwich were great, and definitely not too fatty with the sauces on the side. The enchiladas were light and simple with a delicious sauce. Finally, the Green Detox Smoothie felt to me like they dumped a 1/4 cup of sugar in it so it wasn't anything like a detox to me! (I never add sweeteners to smoothies so maybe it would taste normal to other people.)

Sprouted shop

This is my go to place very time I visit El Paso. Why sprouted? When grains, seeds and even legumes are sprouted it means that they have been soaked in water before cooking. As a raw chef I learned the potencial little seeds hold, image one seed can become a full grown tree. With this concept in mind, every time sprouted food holds much more nutrients than non sprouted items. I’m very grateful this places exist and serves a town like this one. All items are vegan by default, however carcasses can be add to the dishes. :(

Pros: Sprouted restaurant , Meal replacement drinks

Cons: Not enough parking space, I believe they ruined the concept with meat

Healthiest Vegan Restaurant in El Paso!

I love all about Juicery Plus! From cold press juices, smoothies, shots and vegan pastries to delicious burgers, tacos, etc.
On Fridays the serve "Street Food Friday" specials, which consists of delicious vegan "cheat day" food but in the healthiest way possible. They also serve the most delicious Vegan Menudo every Sunday.
I love the flavor of all the items I've tried (which is almost the whole menu hahaha).
Their base Menu is completely vegan, but they have the option of adding meat for people that are transitioning. They are a lactose free establishment, which means they only use vegetable milks and they prepare their own cheese.
They are also a sprouted kitchen, which means they sprout all the grains they use for their dishes and their bakery, which makes all their bread more nutritional available and easier to digest.
I love other vegan restaurants but if you want to feel great after eating, definitively choose Juicery Plus.

Pros: sprouted kitchen, cold pressed juices, fresh ingredients

Cons: slow

Good option in El Paso

We got curbside pickup as we came into town so our food wasn’t super fresh by the time we ate it. The almond and pecan smoothies had a good taste but were a little chalky. The artisan pizza was great although a little spicy. The classic burger was definitely the highlight. Vegan Mac was a disappointment and tasted very turmeric-y.

This is the beat Vegan Resteraunt I have eaten at

This place is amazing — I just got back from Melbourne Australia the vegan capital of the world they claim and still nothing as good as this place. Wish they had weekend and dinner hours but well worth your time. Very crowded at lunch so go for a late breakfast or early or late lunch.

Pros: Lots of vegan options., Most are Whole Foods not all processed like most, Cheap — worries they won’t make it or is so cheap

Cons: Limited hours

Several Vegan Options, Best for Sit in, Not Take Out

*Non Vegan Items on Menu: They have regular yogurt in their parfait and use honey and bee polen in many breakfast items (can sub maple syrup).

This restaurant advertises itself as a vegan restaurant that is 'carnivorous friendly' so instead of a non vegan restaurant offering vegan options, they do the reverse (however they do have honey and yogurt in some breakfast items).

*honey is a product of animal exploitation and is not vegan, same for bee pollen.

We are vegan bc we don't think animals should be exploited, so we do wish they would change this. It would be great if they offered vegan analogues for their 'carnivorous friendly' option.

*should be omnivore friendly not carnivore friendly. Humans are omnivores and would die on a carnivore diet. It's a pet peeve of ours bc there is so much misinformation and omnivores will perpetuate this mistake to explain why they aren't/can't be vegan.

The owners have clearly carefully considered every aspect in order to make this restaurant top quality. It is a brand new restaurant but the food, decor, customer service and dishes/take out containers have all been chosen carefully, such that it feels like a well established restaurant. We love that they use compostable cups (plant plastic), straws and take out containers as many restaurants seem to overlook this. The prices are also super affordable. In addition they offer meal prep and cooking classes. We hope they are here for many years to come.

Languages: English y Habla Español

LGBT: LGBT owned and LGBT friendly.

Accessibility: The wheelchair accessible door is near the parking garage to the left of the main entrance.

Parking: Street parking is most affordable but there is also a parking lot across the street. The trolley is another option.

Wifi: Free
Username: Juicery Plus
Password: sproutedkitchen

The owners and staff are super warm and friendly. We always feel welcome.

They have plant based compostable straws and will soon have plant based compostable cups (made from corn). The owner advised they are actively moving towards reducing waste.

We love the vegan meals here. They taste like they are expensive chef prepared meals (so much flavor) yet they are very affordable. We also love that so much care has gone into each recipe that the sides are just as flavorful as the main dish.

We also love that they offer vegan meal prep plans at $65 / 10 meals, superb value. You text your order and pick up your fully prepared meals in individual containers on certain days and then you don't have to cook or worry about your meals for the week.

The entire menu is also quite healthy. The chilaquiles are sprayed with avocado oil and put in the oven, repeated 5 times to get a healthy crispy chip option. The brownie is made with oats and sweet potatoes. They make their own breads (we think it is sprouted grain) and use sprouted rice.

Meals are $6.50 - $10.00

We categorized our favorite items bc there are so many options. Since everything is so fresh, the meals are very filling.

Favorite:
Poblano Enchiladas: Wow really great, smooth flavor
Migas: Probably the best migas we've ever had, sour cream was also amazing
Tofu Benedict: Really Delicious, the potatoes that come with it are also really well flavored
Banana Pancakes: amazing tasted like bananas foster
Chilequiles: Delicious, same sauce as the enchiladas, the dressing for the salad was also amazing
Guacamole: Wow so amazing, best restaurant guacamole I've had, we opted for no jalapeños.
Vegetable Curry: Delicious and creamy. The rice is also very well flavored.
Flavored Latte: Delicious, they use a coconut /almond milk mixture to get the frothy portion, which can be hard to do with non dairy milk.

Good but not favorite:
Chickpea Tofu Scramble: Chickpeas were tender and the tofu had great texture but I liked the flavor of other breakfast items better.
Mushroom Tacos: very good, comes with a side of guacamole, just not a huge fan of mushrooms
Truffle burger: okay, the bun seemed to overpower the flavor
Munchies burger: okay, the bun seemed to overpower the flavor
C4 drink (orange, grapefruit and mint): good but a bit citrusy for me.
Lasagna: good, just not as much flavor as other dishes.
Falafel Salad: sauce a little watery and nutritional yeasty, falafel was nice and veggies were fresh
Black Eyed Toast: would have liked a sauce added and the beans a bit mashed, garlic was delicious
Rustic Toast: sauce was nice, a bit spicy, hummus needed more flavor

We always feel great after eating at Juicery Plus!

We hope they extend their hours and are able to come up with weekly menus for their meal prep options. Please reduce wait times for take out orders and meal prep pick up. Don't miss this restaurant if you are in the El Paso area!

Updated:

Sadly there are some consistent issues that often lead to us choosing a different restaurant to eat at. We feel we've been very patient as we thought perhaps it was just a busy day, but the issues keep recurring.

Take Out Orders: We often get take out orders as we are in the area for work and often don't have time to eat in. Each time we call in we are told 15-20mins. When we arrive we pay for our food and consistently wait 20min until our order is given to us. From our perspective it appears that they consistently only make take out orders when the person arrives to pick up the order. This sadly makes it much less of a reliable place when you have to find a place to park, walk in and then wait at least 20min (sometimes longer). This is also when there are few customers. We generally pick up food early in the morning (7am ish) or late in the afternoon (2-3pm).

Meal Plans: While we initially were very excited about this option as it is very affordable, we've found it to be a bit more of a hassle than anticipated. We have ordered vegan weekly meals for 2 people for 2 weeks.
The first week, we confirmed our food was ready for pick up several times (over the phone prior to driving to get our meals) and went to pick it up and it was not ready for various reasons. We went in on 3 separate occasions to be told they confused our meal plan with someone else or some other excuse and were asked to come back the next day. Again this happened several times in one week.
The next week we advised that we were in a place that only had a mini fridge and that we needed to take only a few meals at a time. One of the staff members understood and accommodated us. While the next day we spoke with Adrian, confirmed the amount for pick up with him, only to have him ignore it and bring out way too many. This was also after waiting over 20min for him to bring out the meal plans. It is further frustrating as these are the days they ask people to come to pick up meal plans. The meals were cold like they had been sitting in the fridge, there were 6 people in the restaurant and we had to wait over 20min for someone to get our pre ordered meal plans from the fridge? Sadly this is not out of the ordinary. Almost every time we've picked up meal plans, we've had to wait over 20min, even though we call ahead and these are days we are told to pick them up.

We do have other instances where it also seems like Adrian awknowledges our request and then disregards it, I guess because it is easier? I've worked in service a lot and have seen this many times. People sometimes find it easier to agree with a customer and then do what they want regarding an order. We hope this changes as well.

Finally we have gotten sick from the food in the past. This has only been the meal plans. We would open a meal and it would smell very sour. We were confused why it would be sour smelling as this mainly occurred in rice dishes. Then the next day we would be sick. We later realized it was the sprouted rice. Again we've only had this issue with meal prep meals.

Pros: Super Flavorful yet Super Affordable , LGBT owned y Habla Español, Compostable take out containers and straws

Cons: 20+ min wait times for pick up orders + meal prep

Healthy foods

Lots of options! I love that I can go with friends and family and everyone can order something they enjoy even if they’re not plant based.

Pros: Plant based menu, Great location , Great pastries

Cons: Not open for dinner
