Wanted to try everything! - Edit
Absolutely beautiful food - wish we had the opportunity to eat here more times while we were in Adelaide. I would have happily made my way through the menu. Very fresh and flavoursome. A great mix of options to cover whatever you might feel like. We enjoyed some "bowls" and a glass of red alongside (nice to not have to check the label to confirm it's vegan). The staff are lovely also. Will definitely be back when next in town.

The go-to lunch spot - Edit
So pleased to have this great cafe around the corner from my office building. The staff are Always so friendly and remember me by name. I only ever have 30 minutes for lunch, so I always get one of the pre-made sandwiches toasted and taken takeaway. The bahn mi is by far my favourite, but the falafel is also delicious!

So many choices!!! - Edit
Love walking into a vegan cafe knowing that everything is on offer! Looked at the menu for ages before I ordered the veggie burger. Delicious and so packed. Just wished it was cut in half so I could eat it more delicately but what the hell I just tucked in. Ordered the choc chip cookie for after but will probs go back for the gaytime and donuts

Nice ambience, friendly staff. I ordered a mushroom and cheese burger with a side of fries and a smoothie. All were delicious. They also have a special no onion and garlic menu if you need that.

Open for breakfast! Great menu. - Edit
All vegan - hooray! Some gluten-free things also. Busy at lunchtime, but enough staff to handle it, and my bowl meal arrived quickly. (I’m not a fan of alfalfa sprouts, but I enjoyed the rest of the bowl.) Happy to find this place, I returned another few times while in town. I had the tofu scramble meal, which was nice, and the mango smoothie bowl, which was beautiful and tasty but served ice-cold (had actual ice cubes in it) - maybe okay on a hot, sunny day, but not as breakfast on a drizzly day. I've enjoyed some of the sweets and treats: a layered slice, apple crumble, apricot Danish pastry and hazelnut-iced doughnut. Also available are takeaway ciabatta sandwiches, grilled cheesy croissants, daily soup, daily hot-pot curry and lots more.

Alleyway gem - Edit
Tucked away in a hidden alleyway, Veggie Vie was a godsend during a trip to Adelaide. I was the only vegan in the group and was a bit nervous because I went with friends who hadn’t tried fully vegan places before but everyone really enjoyed their food and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the whole food bowl, hot pot, mushroom schnitzel and mushroom and cheese and everything was delicious. I also ordered the spiced apple juice which was something different and very yum! Staff were really lovely too. Will definitely return when I’m back in town.

Delicious food, great service - Edit
I ordered the cheese and pickles toastie, with side salad, small chips and a green juice.... Wow, so much food! The side salad was a main salad on its own. It was only an extra $4 so was not expecting much. I was so stuffed by the end of it, but it was my birthday, so I bought a Ferrero Rocher croissant to take away as well!! So yum, and did not need dinner, haha.

Not the best tofu scramble, amazing smoothie! - Edit
Had the tofu scramble on toast and if it didn't come with the sauce and I hadn't ordered the vegan bacon, it would've been very bland, needs black salt and maybe some mustard through the tofu, even adding salt and pepper to it wasn't enough. The Ferrero Rocher croissant was very dense, lovely, but very sweet, almost to the point of too much, but I devoured it all the same. Had one of the chocolate smoothies too which was delicious. I'd go back but I'd probably try something else, the tofu banh mi sandwiches looked amazing.

A true gem - Edit
Took a day off work and went to town with the kids. Stumbled on this happy little place and I’m so glad we did. The food is outstanding. The toasties are great. Was wonderful to sit, eat and see so many people on lunch come and grab their orders. Really steady flow! Even though it was flat out we did not feel rushed and staff were still attentive.
