Affordable and delicious dishes - Edit
We ate here 3 times while we were in Alor Setar since it was near our hotel.
Read moreLots of variety. They said they only use coconut milk for the curry. Pretty affordable.

Decent food for cheap - Edit
Food was okay. No one spoke English so you just grab a plate and fill it with food. Once you get to the counter the man will guess a price which was about 6rm per plate for us.

Buffet review - Edit
We went tonight to test out the buffet and got there just after opening. The food was piping hot and there were about 8 hot options plus a few cold ones too. You can put as much rice on as you like. It’s fantastic value for money. We had 2 buffet plates, 1 lemon ice tea (from a can but given a cup with ice) and one fluffy bun (similar to kaya) and the whole thing came to 15.50RM. That’s around £3!!!
Read moreCan’t recommend this place highly enough. In a city where vegetarian food is hard to come by, so try this place. The buns are ideal if you’re staying at one of the hotels close by. 1.50-2RM per bun.
Pros: Lots of veg and vegan options, Food was varied and fresh, Very friendly staff
Cons: All good but don’t expect restaurant decor.

Simple but tidy buffet style Chinese vegetarian. Rice and twelve different options available. From fried mock meat to tofu dishes curry and green vegetables.

Very well prepared delicious buffet econ food esp curries.Innovative ala carte...bean-skin Hainanese roast chick,Thai dishes tomyam, paed pad, green curry etc etc....never miss when I travel to this part of the state....have been traveling and tasting past 14yrs in this country and elsewhere...ThumbsUP
