nice bread, limited for vegans - Edit

I agree with other reviewers that this is a nice bakery for buying bread, and it does have a few other things in the shop (eg tofu, vegan sausages) but it's not particularly vegan friendly overall. The cakes and pastries are not vegan, and there is little or nothing vegan to eat in the cafe. Definitely useful for lovely and not overly expensive bread, or if you need a couple of snacks for a walk up East Hill, but limited vegan selection otherwise and I think should be listed as shop rather than cafe as the cafe is no use to vegans and there are others available nearby.

Pros: good bread (mostly but not all vegan), some vegan supplies

Cons: limited vegan selection

Bakers to the Old Town in Hastings - Edit

Judges Bakery is minutes from where I live and they continue to be the place where I most often buy bread. It's usually a large white sandwich! But sometimes its the whole-wheat sandwich. Recently, the bakery changed hands and its in transition from an organic bakery and shop to a bakery and cafe.

Pros: Quality bread, Good value, Friendly staff

Cons: None , None, None
