Really good vegan ice cream! - Edit

Great vegan ice cream and you can pick coconut milk with different flavors of fruit and they make it up right there. Gluten free waffle cones as well.

Friendly service and decent vegan options - Edit

Warm and welcoming, we were pleased to find a lot of vegan options and were compensated with other options when there wasn't an available alternative (whipped cream). The lady who served us today was really friendly but rushed of her feet as there were lots of customers and she was the only member of staff working

Pros: Welcoming , Deals available , Vegan options

Cons: Understaffed

Made to order ice cream - Edit

Literally, it's made to order. Cute, friendly servers add your base of choice (all organic) with your toppings and like mad scientists, add liquid nitrogen and bam, ice cream.

It's not the creamiest ice cream but it's so worth the visit. It's served with a smile and a piece of homemade cone.

Pros: Magic, Ice cream, Cone

Cons: A little icy

JOYLATO RULES!!!! - Edit

I just had an ice-cream frozen fresh to order with liquid nitrogen at Iceland's JOYLATO! I had the Organic Madagascan Vanilla with the mocha swirl sauce. It was so very, VERY delicious that I actually ordered a second one immediately after I finished the first (which is something I have never done!!)! I'm guessing its the organic ingredients and the fact that there are no additives or preservatives that make this ice-cream so truly amazing. All the flavours can be made vegan. Definitely don't miss this place if you are travelling through Iceland! yum yum YUM!!!!!!

Pros: Tastes so good, it has to be good for you!, Lovely service!!!

Cons: Needs to be a 10 star rating option - Joylato dese

Best Raw vegan Icecream in Iceland - Edit

Hands down the best Raw vegan Ice cream you will get your hands on in Iceland. The service is amazing and it is fun to see them make the ice cream right in front of you, everything is organic and the Ice cream is to die for! Must get the coconut ice cream with coconut flavour and chocoate with warm hot chocoate sause. Although the salted carmel is a favorate to my husband. They use a maple syrup as a sweeter which is a much better alternative then agave like most health places use. Get ice cream with soul at Joylato.

Best and healthiest ice cream is in Iceland!!! - Edit

Ice cream in Iceland:)

It was an awesome experience visiting Iceland. Specially ''Joylato'' They are a vegetarian Ice cream shop that uses N2(liquid nitrogen) to freeze the ice cream while you wait and it only takes about 2-3 minutes. With about 50% vegan options. They make their own organic coconut milk, cashew milk and almond milk bases.

I had the salted caramel with coconut base and then i went for the Icelandic bilberry with coconut milk. I could not get enough so i had 1 more and chose Mayan chocolate with roasted almonds! Even after 3 ice creams i felt really good.
They are using only organic and local produce.

They sweeten the ice cream with either organic raw cane sugar, organic coconut sugar, organic maple syrup or organic dates. Finally an ice cream i feel really good about eating!

The staff was very friendly. They are following a spiritual path and there were lots of pictures of spiritual masters around that really blended well in with the cool and fresh looking interior. They just opened in November on Friday the 13th at 13:13 they told me with a smile:)

They have about 40 recipes that they have made and introduce new menu every week with 10 options. They are closed on Wednesday but open other days.

I hope they open downtown even though it´s close to downtown if you have a car. Maybe around 3-4 miles away in the next city called Kopavogur.

They have also have in the same building a health food shop called Mamma veit best(Mother knows best)where i saw some of the top quality brands from the states like Garden of life, Vibrant health, Pure synergy, Navitas naturals and Dr.Bronners soaps.

Really peaceful and serene atmosphere in the those two stores!

I´ll be back soon very soon!

This is my first and longest review on Happy cow and they deserve it.
