蔬稻餐厅 is an upscale vegetarian restaurant at 广州天河区珠江新城兴盛路11号兴盛汇三层, on the bar strip by Liede metro, on the 3rd floor. Some of the dishes are a mock veg version of western dishes. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30pm-9:30pm.

Fancy veg resto with Western selection

JoyVege/Soodle was a memorable dining experience. They used a lot of mushroom and they clearly informed us when any item had eggs or milk. The food was excellent and presentation was out of this world. The portions are small (not like other Chinese veg restaurants) so even after ordering 6 dishes we were still not satisfied. The mushroom steak and chocolate lava cake are a must try but the lava cake contains egg. It was also quite pricy so it is definitely not for the budget conscious. This will definitely be one of our regular stops in the future. Something different.

Pros: Delicious food and presentation , Great ambience , English menu

Cons: Small portions , Pricy

Refreshing menu!!

My Gf found this place in the middle of the booze garden crawl in New Town. On the second floor, it's too elegant and seems out of place. Its atmosphere is like a reservation only lunch place in Soho. The menu is well detailed and there isn't enough time in the day to try it all. Mushrooms are their specialty obviously, but it's not in everything. Their presentation of food was unpronounced and appreciated. The food was simple and very good. It is a little pricey, but worth trying once to treat yourself or your date. It left a good first impression.
P.s.: please delete the first photo, that is someplace different.

Pros: classy atmosphere, detailed menu, good presentation

Cons: pricey, little vegan option

Something Different

It has many eastern dishes, but it also has a few western dishes as well. I found the portions to be a bit small, but they were tasty. I had the mushroom steak. It has been quite some time since I last had a pepper jack mushroom sauce, the mushroom was nice and tender. I also had a curry, it was good but a good curry isn't to hard. And I shared some tofu squares with a sauce I don't know the name of but it was good too. I did not know it was an upscale place when I arrived. I felt a bit out of place with the white tablecloths around. They have a little dessert display at the front but I'm sure none of them were gluten free vegan so I didn't go through the hassle of trying to ask. A nice experience, worth checking out but not worth adding to the regulars, unless of course you're dying for the western flavor. I think many westerners would feel a bit more at home here than most other restaurants.

Pros: Different Selection, Tasty, Location

Cons: Pricey
