Good selection of food including specials, all of which are vegan. Good selection of drinks including hot drinks, soft drinks, cocktails and bottled beer. The staff are friendly and helpful. The environment is clean, pleasant and comfortable.

Got a takeaway from here the other day and really enjoyed it. Had the nachos, lasagne and mac & cheese, all of which were tasty and healthy. Came in cardboard boxes with paper bag, so environmentally aware. Not massive portions, but enough if you're not starving. Very flavoursome, especially for things which are tricky to make vegan! Special shout-out for the beans underneath the mac and cheese. Generous with toppings on the nachos and it was good to have this kind of food available as a takeaway.

This is a super cafe/restaurant situated on the historic Hamilton Square. There's a small menu with added daily specials. I've eaten here several times over the past few years. I've enjoyed Sausage butties, Mac n cheese and sometimes just a coffee and cake. Good staff, good atmosphere, good food.

Read moreThe cafe is in the pretty Hamilton Square, tucked away downstairs and is super cute and cosy with such lovely, friendly staff.
I had the vegan lasagne which was delicious and great value at only £6. Joro offers meals to take away too.
What a lovely surprise this cafe was, well worth a visit. Highly recommend. I will be back to try everything on the menu 😋

Such a great place! Delicious food, loads of choice, a great price and they allow dogs in. Would highly recommend the Jackfruit Bagel and any of the desserts! Really friendly staff.

We've had takeaway from Joro (written as Jöro on their website) on several occasions, and every time it has been a culinary little feast. Normally after a meal out or a takeaway my skin likes to break out within a matter of hours or a day after, but not with the food from this place! The ingredients feel a lot cleaner than many other places that I've been to in the past.

I got a coronation chickpea wrap with soup of the day (carrot & lentil) and it was nice. Didn't blow my mind or anything but I've never seen a vegan coronation dish so it deserves recognition for that. I was working in the station and it took about forty seconds at a leisurely pace to get to it so it'd be handy if you're early for a train or the ferry to Belfast. They were sorting out loads of deliveries when I was there too.

Some pretty amazing food! Me and my partner wanted something close to home and suitable for us both ( I am vegan he's pescatarian) and this place didn't disappoint. I had mac n cheese and he had the burger and we shared some nachos. I had a chocolate brownie with cream and he had a banana cake with ice cream. Good value, very helpful staff and quick service.

We called in on a whim to check out a new to us vegan eatery. I couldn’t be more pleased. Lovely welcome clean and comfy surroundings. The menu was fab. Wraps that were fresh and tasty. The star was the minted pea soup. Such simple ingredients made a really gorgeous soup( so much so I asked for the recipe). Great coffee, lovely staff fantastic, unpretentious food.

Jöro is a hidden gem at beautiful Hamilton square but we made a special trip to find it and were well rewarded! It is a very cute basement restaurant with two nice dining rooms - there is a separate lunch and dining menu, both with great and tasty options. We choose the Mac and cheese (my absolute fav!) and the chili. Both were wonderful, tasty dishes and the potion size was just perfect as well. Unfortunately we didn’t have any room for dessert but there are cakes and cupcakes on offer amongst other things. We will definitely be returning again to work our way through the menu!😄The staff is also very friendly and welcoming and make the place even nicer!
