Serves meat, vegan options available. Brewpub with cottage decor on the old mission peninsula. Has a few vegetarian choices that can be made vegan. Open Mon 12:00pm-8:00pm, Thu-Sun 12:00pm-8:00pm.
Closed Tue & Wed.
We used to visit many years ago when we were vegetarian and had one or two options then, but nothing since becoming vegan. I emailed to ask about any menu substitutions that could make anything suitable for vegans and never got a response.
At first glance the menu has some vegetarian options that can be made vegan by omitting cheese. The rice bowl is listed as vegetarian on the physical menu given to me by the restaurant. I asked the waiter to double check if it was vegan- he returned saying it can’t be vegan because the rice is made with CHICKEN STOCK. If I hadn’t been the only vegan eating with a group, I would have left. Instead I had the Israeli couscous and lentil salad without cheese, which was nothing special. My meal had no protein, so it wasn’t filling. It looks like the southwest salad could also be vegan by omitting cheese, but I didn’t ask. Not worth stopping here if you don’t eat meat, you may be served some against your will since there is blatantly wrong information on the menu. Unacceptable.
