Great Pizza - Edit
The pizza vegana was very tasty, especially the dough. The restaurant itself is cozy and the staff were very friendly.

Very good rostaed veggie pizza - Edit
The pizza vegana was very good, they really layered on the roasted veggies. We went there for takeaway and they mixed up one of or orders (and gave us a pizza with ham) so best to check the box before you leave.
Read morePros: Lots of heavily layered roasted veggies, The pizzas for take out came very fast
Cons: A vegan cheese option would have been nice, They mixed up our order

Good dough - Edit
Since there aren’t many vegan options in Chamonix, we ordered some pizzas for take away. The waitress was very friendly. All of us enjoyed the pizza, the dough was really good, the topping was ok.

Good pizza, terrible staff behavior - Edit
The vegan pizza was good. However, I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk. The server gave me a cappuccino with cow’s milk. When I told the server it wasn’t right he started to argue with me and denied that I ordered it. He even said I had to pay for the cappuccino. When the check came, there were indeed two cappuccino’s on it. Even de manager of this place started to argue with me, saying that his server was sure I didn’t order almond milk. Eventually he was willing to ‘make an exeption’ for me. They were very rude and arrogant. Such a shame because the pizza and the almond cappuccino were very good, but my experience was ruined.

Very tasty! - Edit
Loved the location, we sat outdoors in an intimate setting. Had the vegana pizza, it was juicy and full of veggies! They gave us chili oil to add, which was delicious, and the servers were friendly. Indoors didn’t look as cosy, so in case of cold weather, we wouldn’t choose this.

3 totally vegan pizzas - Edit
At time of writing, the menu has three totally vegan pizzas. We both went for the truffle one and it was great! The dough was near perfect, and the flavours were good.
Read moreFriendly staff. Note that the restaurant is actually called “JOIA By Pizzeria Des Moulins” and so we walked passed it many times before finding it, as JOIA is the main brand.
Found the interior decor quite odd. Felt like it’s been recently renovated as doesn’t match another reviewers description. Felt like it was designed to be a upmarket hair salon, but services Italian food… however I’m not reflecting that on my review! Just to note if you were imaging a traditional “pizzeria”.
There were many more veggie pizzas, maybe can be made Vegan (we did not ask as we’re happy with the vegan choices).
Edit: just noticed another reviewers photo of the menu. The prices have increased a lot since that post (2019), the pizza tonight was €18 euros not €13.

On the outside this restaurant looks like it’s take away because there’s no seating on the ground floor but you’ll get escorted upstairs.

Best pizza in town now with vegan options - Edit
We always have a pizza here whenever we visit Chamonix. In the past we've just asked for no cheese but surprise, surprise, this time they now have vegan specific options too. The Boscaiola was full of flavour and freshness, my favourite. The Agata was nice but was a bit too strong in flavour for a whole pizza, best shared IMHO. Either way, the best pizza in town!

Cons: Can be busy so may need to reserve a table
