Traditional Irish Pub with Vegan Option - Edit
Johnnie Fox's has a warm, traditional Irish pub atmosphere with live Irish music. The place is full of character, and the staff were friendly. It's a lovely place to experience traditional Irish hospitality while still enjoying a good vegan meal.
Read moreThey have only one vegan option as main dish, which was a very tasty vegetable stew. It was well presented and satisfying.
The pub gets very busy, so it's best to make a reservation in advance.

Good stew, friendly - Edit
Did the nearby hike on a rainy fall day. Veg stew hit the spot. Appreciate the vegan options and friendly service. To get to the home, just go down the road to the “GAP” sign.

A surprisingly lovely lunch - Edit
The last time I visited this legendary pub snd restaurant, 35 odd years ago, there were no veggie options, never mind vegan. But now there are 2 vegan options, including the delicious one-pot lentil dish I had. Much needed after a walk in the Dublin mountains. They could do with labelling their drinks and side dishes, but I came away very satisfied.

Fuimos con nuestro grupo en una excursión a Wicklow y Glendalough. Es una buena opción para vivir la experiencia de pub irlandés tradicional, tienen un estofado que es vegano y está muy bueno, y algún otro plato que se puede veganizar quitando ingredientes. Nosotros al ir con la excursión teníamos un menú "pactado" que pudo modificarse un poco a nivel entrantes y postres para poder acomodarnos a nosotras. No tienen muchas opciones, pero para salir del paso y no tener que buscarte las mañas para la excursión está muy bien.

Two vegan options but not very tasty... - Edit
Two vegan options on the menu but neither are very tasty... That being said, we were with non-vegans and they said they're food wasn't great either so perhaps kitchen was having an off day.
