Great menu! - Edit
We got a full menu that perfectly filled us for the night. Started off with some nuts, soup and a cute starter. You then had 5 mail dishes to choose from, a drink of you choice and a flavor of your choice to finish off with. Highly recommend this place, it wasn’t crowded (yet), we visited 6 days after opening.

4.5 — Tasty food with delightful details - Edit
The venue is neat and chic. The staff is very polite and attentive.
Read moreI took the lunch set with mapo tofu, celeble and setouchi ice cream and oolong tea. The set includes quite a few things for the price. I especially liked the puré with assorted vegetables that you shoveled into your mouth.
Mapo tofu was really good too with a generous portion. If I'd have to fault it, I'm biased to slightly more Sichuan pepper and chili.
The ice cream and iced oolong were really lovely too. I would've hoped for slightly smoother texture on the ice cream, but the tea was with nice roast and felt good.
All and all a great experience. I'll come to try other mains too.

Amazing! - Edit
The food was great, we ordered the curry with additional katsu and the mapo tofu. Both were so delicious. The restaurant was full even though its only been three days. We waited about 20 min and got in. Food was served very quickly. Loved it! Will probably return tomorrow :D

Hiroshima's first vegan restaurant - Edit
A restaurant overseen by Chef Kusumoto of the world's best vegan restaurant, Saido, has opened in Hiroshima, so I immediately went there to eat. I tried the tantanmen noodles, curry, and katsudon, and was impressed by the refined and wonderful taste of everything. The sweets were also overseen by Chef Tsujiguchi, the world's best pastry chef, and were also amazing to taste. Everything was a special experience, so I would definitely like to visit again when I come to Hiroshima.

Excellent - Edit
I had the fortunate timing of arriving at Hiroshima the day after the restaurant opened and went twice. The first time I had the set with cauliflower soup and dandan noodles. The second time I had the larger course and got the katsu. Both were good but I would put the dandan noodles slightly ahead. The strawberry gelato was also great and had a strong strawberry flavor. The staff were all very passionate and provided fantastic service. Vegan visitors of Hiroshima should look forward to this.

Excellent fully vegan food in Hiroshima! - Edit
We had a very delicious vegan meal here and we can confirm it is fully vegan!
Read moreThere are two set menu options: A is simply a main dish you choose (5 options) together with a small soup starter and options B is a multiple course meal. We had option A.
Our main dishes were the katsu bowl, finally found a nice vegan katsu in Japan! And the mapo tofu rice bowl. Overall the mapo tofu was a nice portion, the katsu portion could've been a bit bigger, but both were excellent nonetheless.
We asked for a gelato as well, eventhough that was only in option B and that was no problem, the strawberry flavour was very good and tasted like actual strawberry.
Drink selection is fine as well, but a bit pricy, the beer is a bit on the expensive side and only 1 option with two sizes (the largest option is only 300-330ml).
Aside from that there is also an a la carte menu with different side dishes. The staff can understand a bit of English, but not speak very well. They are very helpful and use translator apps, so communicating is no issue at all.
Highly recommended to take a visit!
Pros: Excellent food, Kind and helpful staff, Delicious ice cream
Cons: Pricey drinks
