It is a full Vegeterian buffet, mostly vegan. A lot of nice dishes, tofu, vegetables, rice, bao, soup. All for 23rmb. We have been there twice.

A vegetarian haven in Lijiang - Edit
In my research before visiting Yunnan, my biggest concern was where to get vegetarian food, especially in Lijiang which I heard did not have much choices compared to other cities in Yunnan such as Dali and Kunming. To my relief, I found this store just 5 minutes walk from my hotel. This restaurant serves an all-you-can-eat buffet at just RMB23 per person. The variety of the food far surpasses the price that you pay. My wife and I ended up visiting this restaurant 5 times for the 3 nights we spent in Lijiang (3 dinner and 2 lunches). Each visit brought a different variety of vegetables, so we tried out new things at various times. A great place to visit and I definitely recommend the restaurant for vegetarians.
Read moreDo note that the owner does not speak English. Since I am bilinguial, I helped out the owner a few times to translate for non-Chinese guests. The food are labeled as containing egg/diary, but all in chinese, but handwritten so the Google Translate app would not work. Make sure that you type in your diet restrictions and translate on the app and show to the owner when you pay for your food.

Tolle Essensauswahl zu sehr günstigem Preis - Edit
Wir sind hier jeden Abend in Lijiang essen gegangen, weil es lecker, abwechslungsreich und günstig war. Wir haben draußen gesessen, was entspannt möglich war, da das Restaurant ruhig gelegen ist. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Große Empfehlung!

Not only fantastic food at a very cheap price (I could happily eat two meals a day here). But when we had a problem paying - our Alipay not working for some reason and we had no other means of paying - the woman on the desk called over her friend from the next-door shop to help. She ended up paying for us and said we could give her cash later. Faith in humanity restored!

The joy of knowing that whatever that unfamiliar dish is, it's guaranteed to be safe to try, without the tortuous negotiation with inadequate translations - alone is a blessing. But add in a stupendous array of choices, around thirty to forty, salads, fresh fruit, complex relishes and several varieties of shortbread, this all you can eat paradise is unbelievable value at 23 yuan (€3!). After so many bland experiences in Vietnam, here in China is to be found a refreshing breadth of flavours. Some dishes are oil heavy, but most not. Large, tranquil airy space, eat in or out in a quiet courtyard away from the traffic. If you're in Lijiang, don't miss this place...

You can get a buffet for 23rmb or a buffet with small hotpot for 27rmb. Food is tasty and there is a fair selection of dishes to choose from including soups, buns, tofu dishes and various vegetable dishes. Would recommend the hot pot - we had tomato base and there is a full fridge of ingredients to choose from.

Good quality, relatively easy to find (have to walk down the side street a little bit) and wide selection of dishes. Food isn’t my any means amazing but lots of selection (16-20 dishes) encouraging you to try lots of small things which you may not normally try. Would come again :)

The food is very tasty. When you say that you are vegan they will show you what contains eggs or dairy. Actually there is a single main dish that contains eggs, but all the desserts contains eggs or milk. There is also a label (in Chinese) in front of the non-vegan meals so you can’t be mistaken.
Read moreThe staff is friendly and speak a bit of English. The price of 23 yuan per person sounds amazing but this is actually the case, so very cheap for a great meal. Be sure to come no later than 30mn before closure because they stop refilling the plates so some might be empty.
Edit: we want again the following day and half of the meals were different, and all vegans this time. You can definitely go more than once during your stay in Lijiang.

Incredible value all you can eat buffet with a large range of options. Certainly worth the short walk outside the a concert city if you’re staying there.

We had a little struggle to find a veggie place in Lijiang and luckily found this place with the help of locals. It’s a vegan and vegetarian buffet at lunch and dinner time with a big variety of Chinese dishes and vegetables, soups, buns, desert and free tea. For 23yuan (3€) it was a great price-value! When you go into the street it looks like there is nothing but you can see colorful flags at the end of the road and that’s where it is. It’s also called “Lucky vegetarian restaurant”.
