Amazing food - Edit
Great place to try a vegan okonomiyaki - there is a whole separate vegan menu with an English version, easy to order and choose. I would highly recommend the eggplant with ponzu sauce!

So yummy - Edit
This restaurant was really welcoming and has a full page of vegan options. The grill is cleaned after every use to avoid contamination, however if you get a seat at the grill you will be pretty close to the chef cooking meat for other orders. I'm a vegetarian and ordered the vegan option but with egg and it was delicious! Already looking up whether similar options are available in London

Tasty comfort food - Edit
Had the vegan okonomiyaki and the mushroom parcel. Sooooo tasty! The mushrooms were full of garlic and umami flavours. Service was great and the staff were polite about my rubbish pronunciation. Might need to go again to try the egg roll

Mixed feelings - Edit
While the food was exceptionally good at this place and they do have a vegan and English menu, getting a seat and ordering here is painful. The waitress didn't speak English and didn't make any effort to help with the order. Getting seating is also complicated, you have to wait outside and get lucky they don't forget you are waiting there.

I ordered vegetarian okonomiyaki i asked for only vegetables. i ate it and then realised that the flakes they used on top of it were fish. Completely irresponsible and the staff didnt know english at all.

Such an amazing experience - Edit
This has become one of my favorite Hiroshima style okonomiyaki restaurant in Hiroshima.
Read moreThey have an English menu with vegan options and since they share the grill with non vegan cookings(they use different cooking tools though) I highly recommend going early. But the experience will blow your mind.
I enjoyed every bite into these vegan meals. and they offer vegan mayo upon request so don't hesitate to ask.
Highly recommended
Pros: Delicious.

Vegan egg roll an essential purchase as well as the vanilla icecream! Vegan menu clear and plenty of options, drinks are also good and very well priced.

5 Star Food - Edit
My omni boyfriend and I both had the vegan okonomiyaki and it was incredible. My partner seemed to enjoy it even more than me. When we entered they were busy so were asked to come back in 40mins so we happily came back and thank god as it was worth the wait!

Deserves 5 stars for Hiroshima - Edit
Really tasty vegan options - - perhaps one of the top three in Hiroshima for a tasty vegan dinner. They have a plant-based menu section. So fine!
Read moreWe had okonomiyaki, eggplant, potatoes, and edamame plus drinks. I like that they let you put on as much sauce as you like.
The graffiti on the walls, boisterous atmosphere and warm and friendly staff really make it all a good experience.
If you're vegan and have just one night in Hiroshima, come here.
I want to go back to try the ice cream and eat everything again.
The only thing that would make it better was upping the portion sizes, but it's standard for Japan.
Pros: Tasty! , Great atmosphere , Super friendly staff

Amazing food! Great spot! - Edit
The food was incredible. We had both options of okonomiyaki (spicy ramen and udon) and they were both delicious. We also had the eggplant and the mushrooms which were equally as great.

It’s all served on a hot plate in front of you too which was so cool.

The food was ***** five star!
Read moreThey have a full vegan menu!! And every dish on it is fantastic!
The otonomiyaki is such a great harmony of flavor. The sauce is sweet and the mayo and teriyaki is creamy and salty, the shiso is minty and fresh and the cabbage on the bottom is crisp.

Glad I Tried It - Edit
Had the vegan okonomiyaki and vegan 'egg roll' and all of the sides (edamame, eggplant, potatoes, mushrooms). The sides were delicious and possibly the best bit! The okonomiyaki was tasty but I think I generally I prefer Osaka style okonomiyaki (great vegan place called OKO ONOMIYAKI if you are in Osaka). Still, we were served quickly and I'm glad we managed to try a vegan version of a local delicacy.

Best vegan okonomiyaki - Edit
Arrive early! We arrived at 6pm and were told it was 1.5 hour wait time. We left and returned the next night 20 minutes before it opened (opens at 5:30pm) and were first in - restaurant was full again by 6:30pm. Separate vegan menu, we ordered the vegan roll and vegan okonomiyaki. Both so delicious! Highly recommend but go early to avoid waiting

My favorite place in Japan so far. I got the wrap/roll (vegetarian with egg) and it was one of the most flavorful things I’ve ever eaten.

If I could, I’d give 5 stars - Edit
I would usually never recommend a place that only has veg options this much but this place is the best exception I’ve ever experienced. Not only do they have a separate vegan menu, but it’s not just your average omnivorous meal minus all the non veg parts, it’s made to stand on its own and it shines! Hands down best okonomiyaki, not to mention the vegan Jirokichi roll is amazing! This doesn’t even touch on how considerate and above and beyond the chef went to make sure we were comfortable, drinks never empty, etc. a great place!

Simply delicious 😵 - Edit
Genuinely one of the best tasting things I’ve ever eaten. I had the Jirokichi Roll and it was so creamy and delightful, a bit on the heavier side due to it being mostly udon but the portion was just right. Cannot recommend this highly enough 😍 we sat right at the main cooking area so it was pretty warm!

Amazing vegan Onomoyaki - Edit
It's an authentic small place, with few food options. Accordingly, I was happy with founding a small page in the menu with only vegan dishes. I had the vegan Onomoyaki, it was simply delicious.

Best Okonomiyaki on our trip - Edit
Delicious Okonomiyaki spot in Hiroshima. The owner is very friendly and will cater to any preferences. He asked us which ingredients we would line to add to our Okonomiyaki, in addition to the vegan option that was on the menu. Make sure to try the sides as they are very tasty. Also, you should try and sit at the counter.

Delicious - Edit
We went here twice to try more of the vegan menu. The first time I had the vegan okonomiyaki which was very good. The second time I had Jirokichi vegan roll which was delicious! I preferred the vegan roll as it had egg replacement and vegan cheese. I also had the ginger soda which I would recommend. Very affordable. There were some smokers indoors but it was fine.

Vegan onomayaki - Edit
I went on two nights. Once I had vegan onomayaki, the other night vegan roll. the onomayaki was good. the vegan roll (served like the onomayaki) I thought was better because of the vegan egg. The place is small and on the 2nd floor so it's easy to miss. Staff was courteous.

Oki-NOM-iyaki - Edit
A great selection of vegan options - both more simplified ingredients and speciality ingredients like vegan egg, vegan cheese, vegan mayo. Some great vegetable side dishes like eggplant, mushroom, and garlicky potatoes. Also had the option of a vegan ice cream for dessert. The vegan jirokichi roll was delicious but definitely a rich treat. The reviews that say this place is overrated are potentially misleading - the staff are friendly, the ambiance is fantastic, and the food is very delicious. (This place is located on the second floor for reference!)

Lots of vegan options, decent okonomiyaki - Edit
I had the vegan okonomiyaki and it was pretty good. Good portion size and it was tasty however it was more spicy than I was expecting. Not sure if that was the sauce or something but it had decent heat. If that’s your thing then I recommend it. Other than that it was good. The service was average and we went late at night and got sat immediately.
