My partner and I both had the vegan roll with egg substitute. Honestly one of the best meals we had in Japan. So tasty and we got to eat it straight from the grill.

The okonomiyaki was mediocre to be honest. I opted for the vegan okonomiyaki and my bf had one with meat. The taste was a little plain and too many noodles in comparison to the other ingredients. We asked for a bit of salt, which was no problem. The staff was kind though! Don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit for a table.

I've waited an hour the first time and reservated for the next day to try the other dish.
If I ever happen to be in Hiroshima again I'll definitely visit again

I appreciate your vegan menu. And the food is “vegan” enough and it’s great seeing you try and succeed. Cooked on a cleaned shared surface. Fascinating to watch, credit card accepted. We didn’t wait to sit, but you may have to.

Read moreLocated in the second floor. Staff was very friendly and speaks english and there is a vegan menu. We ordered Okonomiyaki, which were fantastic. Staff gave us a separate vegan mayonnaise, which was also super tasty. Prices are very good and also the meal size was generous. Fully recommend!

At least have a vegan menu written in English and the food is good and tasty. Ask the vegan sauces if they forgot to bring. All table are with normal seating so it's convenient for those like me who can't seat on the floor for long time. Be aware you need climb an external stairs to get in the resto. Very small restaurant. But once again for Hiroshima it's more than welcome. Hope soon have some vegan resto to open.

With no completely vegan places in Hiroshima city, this gem is not to be missed. Save yourself time and order a double helping of the vegan roll with egg substitute. Absolutely gorgeous and an experience not to be missed.

Went here after deciding the line at Nagataya was too long. Chef fitted us in before a reservation. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a separate vegan menu. We got the vegan okonomiyaki, “egg” roll, mushrooms, edamame and silken tofu, and this was heaps of food for 2 adults and 1 child. Plus we were brought vegan okonomiyaki sauce and mayo. With drinks was only 50k yen which I thought was a steal!

We went to this place because we've read that it offers vegan Okonomiyaki. Unfortunately no one in the whole restaurant knew something about it and they barely spoke english. Because we were so hungry we went in anyway. After our order we've got plain noodles with kale and some of their special sauce. It didn't tasted bad, but it was far away from something special.

Da es uns so gut gefiel, sind wir direkt zwei Tage in Folge hingegangen umd haben am 2. Abend auch die "Jirokichi Vegan Roll" mit veganem Eiersatz und veganem Käse probiert. Dies war eine willkommene Abwechslung, welche ebenfalls vollkommen überzeugt hat.

Oh my goodness-insane meal to have with my family. Such a hidden gem in a city that doesn’t give too many options to vegans. So many things to try here - a full vegan menu! Wow - I would give this 5 stars if I could! We made a reservation a while in advanced and were seated right at the grill. The restaurant was small and intimate, and we felt very welcomed by the friendly chef. One guest had a peanut allergy which was easily accommodated.

While it didn't stop us from enjoying our food, please be aware there is the potential for cross contamination. The vegan options for sauce and mayo were clearly labelled.
Overall I highly reccomend for anyone wanting to try some vegan okonomiyaki.

This is a great place to have vegan okonomiyaki. They have a vegan menu section and absolutely know what veganism is. They brought extra Sauce and vegan Mayonnaise for the okonomiyaki. The taste was pretty good and the size not too big. Had the spicy Ramen noodles (you can choose between spicy Ramen noodles and Udon noodle for okonomiyaki) and it was also very good. I recommend making a reservation, it was full when we arrived but there was a slot later that evening so we were able to come back.
