My new go-to ramen bar! - Edit
When you’re craving ramen, nothing else hits. Fortunately, if you live downtown, JINYA has you covered.
Read moreFirst of all, I have to praise them for having a separate, dedicated menu (or at least, a dedicated page ON their menu) for exclusively vegan options. That alone is way more than I expected from this uber-popular ramen joint. But on top of that, the vegan food is actually really good. The broth in the spicy vegan ramen is rich and creamy and the silken tofu is incorporated beautifully. I also really enjoyed their Impossible bao bun, but be aware that it’s super salty and junk food-y (not a complaint, just an FYI). The service has been on point every time I’ve gone; the bartenders check in often and seem like really cool people.
Beyond the food, JINYA is in a prime piece of real estate directly facing Union Station. Every time I’ve gone, the place has been overflowing, so either make a reservation or be prepared to eat at the bar (which is also a pretty nice experience in its own right).
I will say that I’ve had slightly better ramen in the Denver area (i.e. Neko Ramen & Rice), but none could match the location and overall experience of JINYA.
Pros: Delicious ramen, bao buns, and drinks, Prime location, right next to Union Station, Great service
Cons: Super crowded, so be prepared, Ramen is good, but not quite the best in Denver

Excellent Ramen - Edit
Love coming here! Clearly labeled vegan menu items, and delicious vegan options. I’m a fan of the Red Fire Opal ramen, beyond bao, and dumplings.

Delicious ramen! - Edit
Wow the flavours of the ramen bowl was delicious, I love all the toppings and how you can customise them, we got the creamy ramen and miso ramen and tried the impossible tacos which were the highlight! And if you go between 3-6pm it’s happy hour so only $5 for the 2 tacos, would highly recommend!

Delicious Ramen - Edit
We came here for my birthday, and they surprised me with an additional bowl of ramen for free! The broth was very rich. We tried all 3 of the vegan options. The creamy one was my favorite. The Impossible buns are also a must have. I highly suggest calling to see the wait time bc this place gets busy.

Loved that every place setting had it's own hot sauce tray. Spicy Vegan Ramen had great body, and the add-ons were clutch. Fried Brussel Sprots were tasty. Vegan options delicious and clearly marked.

Fantastic vegan ramen and dumplings! - Edit
You haven’t been here yet and you need to. It’s got a nice vibe, the staff is really nice, and their impossible buns and ramen are fantastic! Order their flying vegan harvest and ask for it spicy, you’ll love it! Give them a call to make a reservation and bring a date or a friend here! 🍜🥟🌱✨

top restaurant in denver - Edit
this easily made it into my top three favorite restaurants i ate from in denver. the flying vegan harvest was top tier all around. it had multiple protein sources, veggies, good broth, and a solid serving. it’s right across from union station, and i had it before taking the train to the airport. it kept me full the whole way home. i cannot wait to eat this again

Worth the stop! - Edit
The creamy vegan ramen is delicious! I had that and the vegan tacos. Both delicious and filling. I was full half-way through the ramen but that didn’t stop me from finishing the bowl. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area.

THEY GAVE ME MEAT - Edit
I ordered from this restaurant using Door Dash. On their Door Dash it listen the vegan buns twice. I didn't think much of it and selected the top one since they were described exactly the same. THEY WEREN'T! Whoever entered their menu into Door Dash accidentally put the vegan buns twice instead of the regular (pork) bun and the vegan bun. When my order was dropped off I took a bite into my bun and immediately realized it was pork. When I checked the physical receipt attached to my Door Dash bag I saw that they had given me the regular bun. Having not eaten meat in over 7 years, this not only was emotionally upsetting to me, but made me sick.
Read moreI don't blame the employees. It wasn't their fault, but I want to earn anyone using Door Dash so they don't experience this too.
Pros: The spicy vegan ramen was tasty
Cons: DOOR DASH OPTIONS ARE WRONG! I WAS GIVEN MEAT!
