Excellent lunch today only 133RMB for three of us and truly great food. The flavours were awesome. The restaurant uses a lot of herbs, which is really unusual for China. Staff were very helpful too. Old fashioned surroundings and a slightly strange location, but great food.
Pros: excellent food, good value, friendly staff
Cons: smokers

Plan to visit both branches when you are next in Shen Zhen - http://www.happycow.net/reviews.php?id=16404
This is the larger one!
Can seat 100+ - in fine style.
Run by a happy team - most of whom do not speak a word of English.
A photo menu makes ordering quite easy if you visit with a Cantonese speaker.
I had a dish made of flowering greens a few days ago which was heavenly - I have not seen the same vegetable in my local markets - I am now searching for the name.
Be sure to try their steamed dumplings.
