Zi Char items need improvement in the quality of food

The standard of the zi char item needs improvement. Would suggest to try their rice instead (didn't try during the visit).
Carrot cake had too much sauce when it should be dry with just the right amount of sauce sticking to the carrot cake.
Sheng mian comes with less-than-usual amount of noodles with overly-watery gravy, instead of sticky gravy.
Fish soup noodle is clear soup which is subjective, if that is acceptable for some of the visitors. Usually, fish soup noodles have milk in the soup.

They do add mock meat in the zi char items in an adequate amount, which is a pro in the midst of cons.

Pros: Near MRT station

Cons: Standard of zi char items need improvement , Can opt for no eggs

New vegetarian outlet at Simei kopitiam

Ovo-vegetarian food stall. Cooked dishes to go along with rice, bee hoon, fried noodles, kway teow. Note: Vegans might want to ask which dishes contain eggs.

Nice to have vegetarian stall in this neighbourhood.

Their economic rice is a little expensive, three veggies (without vegetarian meat) cost $3.30. If is non-vegetarian stall in this area coffeeshops, three veggies is only $2.60.
