Wonderfully fluffy and super yummy! - Edit
That was definitely the best bao I’ve ever eaten! Hand made fresh, the fillings are supper yummy and full of veggies. They even have desert option with bean and sesame. Perfect for a quick lunch or breakfast!

Best (cheapest, biggest, tastiest) baozi I've ever had, no question - Edit
I've traveled to China and Taiwan for years, and I've always found baozi to be bland and boring.
Read moreThis stand totally changed my mind. In fact, it blew my mind.
This is a tiny stand near a small market street, just next to the Sun Yat Sen memorial. They make boazi fresh all the time, from many different ingredients. You can get as many as you want. The three of us got a box of 10, devoured about half immediately, and ate the rest throughout the day.
So delicious. So cheap. We went back on our final day, and weren't disappointed.
Their English isn't great, and I speak some Chinese, but I promise it's worth doing a little Google translate and a little pointing.
If you get enough, they'll give you a box with the legend letting you know which dots, pinches, folds, and shapes are each flavor.
Pros: Tasty, Cheap
Cons: Nowhere to sit, I couldn't eat the whole box myself, immediately

those are huge !!! - Edit
I loved the bao buns ! there is huge variety of options! it looks really authentic as well, the staff is nice, however does not communicate in English at all (even with the help of translator) and in the end I did not end up getting what I wanted. But did not complain because it was delicious nevertheless!

Some of the best bao zi in town - Edit
If you're a vegan/vegetarian and you're used to having the bland frozen bao zi sold in your home country, then welcome to heaven. Huge and stuffed to the brim with fresh, savory vegetables, there's nothing more comforting than bao zi.
