A small lunch & dinner buffet spread. Food is brought out prior to 10:30 so only a couple dishes may be hot. Brown rice available. Pay by weight. Note that the faux meats might contain dairy/whey. This area is loaded with small veggie places. Explore south further down Zhongmei St and the side alleys. Open Mon-Sat 10:30am-9:00pm.

I lunched here earlier. I thought it was very enjoyable at the time. I tried to stick to vegetable dishes rather than mock meats. However having said that, if as the current wording accompanying the listing has some validity in the question of egg and / or dairy being used in the mock meats, then cross contamination is inevitable from the use of one person using a pair of tongs per person in serving.
It would be very good if someone was able to get to the bottom of this question. That would potentially make a big difference to my rating.

This little buffet place is located just outside my friends apt so I eat there when in the neighborhood. The options are decent and they say they don't use MSG. The food is put out prior to 10:30am so I wonder have save it is if you get there to eat around 1pm. Occasionally they bring out a new hot veggie dish. They offer a good brown rice mix. Overall, not bad. This neighborhood has a lot of choices, this is likely one of the better ones.
