good food, knowledgeable staff - Edit
We had the pita falafel and veggie burger (chickpeas). Substituted hummus for the dressings/sauces. The hostess was able to guide us with our order and knew which dishes could be veganized and how. Their pasta has egg so that was no-go. Great sorbet selection, including mango, lemon, and dark chocolate (so good!).

Yum - Edit
We've been to Jetties before, but not as vegans. Now we are! We ordered an Afghan eggplant dish and a Moroccan couscous. There are not many vegan options, but there's no problem if you ask without cheese or for hummus instead of yoghurt. Too bad they don't use soy yoghurt, you can get it everywhere nowadays! We really liked the flavours of our dishes and will definitely come back some time.
Pros: Lots of veggie options, Nice tasting food
Cons: Limited standard vegan options, Self-service

One of my favourite places in Haarlem - Edit
UPDATE january 2016
I still love to eat at Jetties. At Jetties you can order fresh prepared hot meals. At least halve of it is vegetarian, a quarter of it is vegan or can be made vegan very easily. I love their curries, lasagnas and marroccan food.
They now have vegan cakes and slowjuiced smoothies.
Jetties has really good 'stamppotjes' (stew) in winter time and in the summer they make tasty salads. Regardless the season, they have a variety of burgers - and a veggie burger, sandwiches, soups and dishes of the day. They also have really good baked goods. The food is fresh and mostly organic.
The veggie burger is not vegan because of the sauce. So you have to order the burger without the sauce if you want to try is. Most of the soups are vegan. Just ask at the counter.
If you're eating alone, you can sit at the big table in the middle, or take the food with you.

Good solution for both vegan and not. Good food and friendly service - Edit
We arrived there in 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) in a weekday and it was almost closing time. Obviously there wasn't so much food left, so we could choose only among 4 dishes on the menu. Luckly 2 of them were vegan. The staff was very nice because they served us even if was so late. Everything was perfect, the service was good and we had generous portions of very tasty food. I will definitely go back there!

Nice place - Edit
Organic lunchroom/restaurant that has vegan soups, one main course and cupcakes. Also has vegetarian and meat dishes. Has a nice lunchroom vibe (light, reading materials, big tables), friendly staff. They also seem quite child-friendly. Prices are about what you'd expect. I had a main course and drink for 16 euro.
Pros: vegan friendly
