Fabulous Online Vegan Shopping - Edit

Impressive Online Shop; Vegan Heaven! - Edit
Jennings Plantry is the UK's only sanctuary supermarket based in The Retreat Animal Rescue Farm Sanctuary in Kent. Jennings opens its doors 12pm-4pm Thursday-Sunday and dispatches parcels Monday-Thursday across the UK.
Read moreSince reading Earth Boy by Billy Thompson, the founder of The Retreat, it has been a dream of mine to visit the sanctuary. As well as being filled with happy animals and rustic lodges, this dream also includes a visit to Jennings! However, for the time being, I will have to make do with placing online orders from Jennings, and after the positive experience I have had recently, this is not a bad compromise!
Jennings holds a truly impressive range of vegan produce. The website is easy to use and new products are advertised front and centre in addition to being highlighted on their socials. The products are arranged in logical sections, there is an option to search for products, and the basket is also easy to use.
Jennings' website contains a lot of information on shipping, including advice on ordering chilled and frozen goods. I followed the advice of ordering my chilled goods special delivery, and my parcel intact with thermal liners and ice packs was promptly dispatched. Unfortunately, due to no fault of Jennings, there was a 2 day delay for my parcel to arrive despite the 1pm next day delivery guarantee. The Royal Mail were not providing me with any updates, so I contacted Jennings, and they provided me with excellent customer service from following up with Royal Mail to issuing a refund for the postage cost (huge shoutout to Ross- who is doing an excellent job!).
Some of the produce I ordered included cheeses, chocolates, iced coffee, a variety of tofu, mock meats, jarred goods, and Billy Thompson's first book; The Animal in Me. I spotted brands I had never preciously heard of, such as New Way Began, Kinda.Co, Plenty Reasons, Soyu and Splits as well as brands I have been desperate to try such as I Am Nut OK and Jeavons. The cherry on top was that I was sent free vegan sweets with my package!
After this glowing review, it is no surprise that I highly recommend UK based vegans give placing an order from Jennings a go. If a huge range of vegan products and superb customer service isn't enough, a part of the profit from your order goes straight to the sanctuary animals so you can support the animals whilst also enjoying the latest plant based treats! 🐮🌱💚

I have been shopping here since day one. For toiletries, dried pantry goods, treats and the best range of chilled frozen, and of course, chocolate gifts I’ve ever found in any vegan store. The team are wonderful and helpful and I’m so excited now that they have an online store.

A little vegan paradise! - Edit
This little vegan store is offering everything you've ever wished for! As it is part of the animal sanctuary it is double worth a visit! I recommend eating in the vegan cafe at the opposite first and go shopping afterwards, with a full stomach. So you might not directly want to buy the whole store ;-D
