Vegan
Take-out
Taiwanese
Little vegan eatery run by two women who do all the cooking and serving. Offers Taiwanese food consisting of rice dishes, noodle dishes, dumplings and sides. Or option for the day's plate of rice and a mix of ready-made dishes. Has dessert parfait made from coconut milk and sweetened taro or mung beans. Very basic setup, has air con. Located near Toucheng train station. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

Great local style veggie food - Edit
It was unclear whether the food was vegan or veggie but what was clear was that everything is delicious. No English menu or English speaking staff but they were very friendly nonetheless. Would recommend the fried 'chicken' on cabbage.

Cheap and good day plate - Edit
Went there twice. No English menu the 1st time so the lady gave us the day plate (60$). It was cheap and good! Good portion. The next day we translated before the card and ordered dumplings and noodles but don't know why it wasn't possible to get some. So we ate again the day plate. Friendly staff.

Excellent - Edit
We were famished after a surf session at Waiao beach and stumbled on that modest little vegan restaurant!
Read moreLots of option with tofu and such...
Tried the dumplings and they were the bomb if you ask me!
The day prior we went to the famous Din Tai Fung dumpling restaurant in Taipei, and they only vegan dumplings were the mushroom dumplings, pretty bland...but the dough was very delicate though.
Here the dough is a bit thick fair enough, but the inside very tasty!! I’ll trade those any time compare to the Din Tai Fung ones!
Anyway, humble place, the 2 women don’t speak English but they do their best to be understood and even ask a customer to translate a little for her!
The menu are in Chinese but has pictures ...
If there wasn’t the HappyCow sticker on the front door, you wouldn’t know it’s a vegan place though.
Pros: Everything vegan, Tasty , So cheap

Lots of flavor - Edit
Was here July 2019. Saw this place listed on happycow and gave it. Here's my Zhen Jia SuShi review. It's a basic little place, and the food was pretty tasty. A few of us shared their dumplings, a marinated tofu appetizer (good), one of the rice dishes, one of the noodle soups, and the plate meal of the day. Overall the food was all flavorful and tasty, on the savory and oily side. The dumplings was average though. A good option to have all-veg / vegan food when in this area.
