When it comes to the vegan ice cream, Jeni’s come through with more than just your typical vanilla, chocolate, and fruity sorbet flavors. She levels up with concoctions like Texas Sheet Cake, Caramel Pecan Sticky Buns, Lemon Bar, etc. The aforementioned all contain gluten/wheat, but they also have gf vegan options. The lemon bar and orange freeze are my favorites. A little pricey, but they do have a rewards program, so sign up for that.
Read moreLong lines are inevitable every night during spring-autumn, but it’s usually much less crowded before 5pm during the week and after 10pm on the weekends. They always sell out of most vegan scoop flavors though, so go early. Worse case, you could get a pint to go.
