changes - Edit
Hi this place has changed ownership and is more "upscale". I ate their once and received small portions of two dishes over a small rice for 40 bath. The taste was ok and the atmosphere very nice and clean. updated - with all the great places nearby I can't recommend this place. Save yourself

Not vegetarian or vegan any more - Edit
It is no longer vegetarian. Alcohol is also served as is meat. Vegetarian menu as pictured but picture menus on the wall contain both meat and fish.
Read moreVery little English spoken.
Really disappointed. Vegetarian menu available but wouldn’t trust it. We had pad Thai (definitely vegetarian because it was pretty tasteless, just like you would get outside of Thailand when they don’t use fish sauce) and fried rice. The ‘tofu’ in the fried rice was suspiciously like meat. First place on happy cow I would never return to or recommend!

Wrong location - Edit
The location is wrong. It has moved to nearer to roundabout next to the Chinese temple. The food is ala carte only.

Nice place - Edit
Restaurant has buffet. Better come here in the morning when food is fresh. Try tom yam, moo daeng, slapao or salad laab.
Read moreOwner is nice and can speak English. Atmosphere is good. No air-con, price is cheap, free water in glass.

Simple and cheap - Edit
Very simple restaurant with buffer And smál a la carte menu. Have not tried the buffet but had three dishes from the menu and they were pretty good except of spring rolls. Each meal Is 50baht so good value for what you get. Vegan pad thai was super nice;)

Buffet was cold and not fresh - Edit
I came while looking for places in Phuket town but didn't end up eating here. The lady let me try some of the dishes but it was not fresh at all. I visited around 5pm and the food has probably been outside for hours (not cooled). If you want to come, do it preferably way earlier than I did :) But it's quite cheap (around 40-60 Baht depending on how many choices you get)

We were told this is the best place for lunch in Phuket, it is clean and it is fresh. And it was.
Read moreWe enjoyed our selection from the buffet. They also make some dishes to order. But when we were there, there was no-one who spoke English so the easier option was to point to items in the buffet.
Our meal was delicious. Served with accompaniments such as cucumber and spring onions. We had a tofu dish which was fragrant, subtle and tasty and also some greens. It was cheap.
We felt welcome, despite the language problems. Definetly worth a visit if you are in town.
Pros: Fresh food, Cheap, Welcoming
Cons: No air conditioning

Great food and lovely people! - Edit
Location is wrong, like said before it's near the round about, with yellow signage. Lots of dishes to choose from, cheap, cruelty free and absolutely delicious.

loads of choice! - Edit
Nice food for nice prices. At least 20 dishes to choose from - but some are REALLY spicy. Be warned ;) Location is not correct on map, it's near the roundabout.
