Good food

We tried the pineapple fried rice (loved), veggie cashew with tofu (loved), spring rolls (loved), pot stickers (loved) onion cake (really liked), summer roll (liked ok, but not much to it), and Thai tea. Overall, great-tasting food, but not a lot of food in the main dishes for the price.

Pros: Many options , Tasty

Cons: Not a large amount of food for the price

Great Menu

Great menu- mostly Chinese food with a mushroom burger and generic kids food but all vegan. We ordered to go and got some drinks from the cooler- $5 each for Pellegrino! Next time we will just stay thirsty.

Pros: Full vegan menu, Clean, Lots of options

Cons: Pricey drinks

My hubby said the Sunny Green drink was great also.

Pros: The drinks were refreshing. The Texas Fries was , were different but really good.

Cons: No soy sauce given., No drizzle on cheesecake as pictured. , Curry dish was bland, not enough black beans.

Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice

Great vegan place to try. First time ordering for pick up, I really liked the fried rice, and the pad Thai. However, the pad tho could use more plant protein very little protein a lot of noddles. Still a great plate and flavor.
Their vegetable egg rolls were great!

Pros: Great flavor, Great service, Amazing egg rolls

Cons: Pad Thai could use more plant based protein

Taste like real meat

Had the Mongolian Deluxe and it was so good I thought it was real beef. Didn’t get a chance to take pics bc it was so delicious I ate it all so quickly. Also had the Buffalo Cauliflower which was very taste but the. Had the chocolate cake and carrot cake which was also delicious. The only thing we didn’t like was the popers which are supposed to be dumplings. They lack flavor tasted very bland

Pros: All vegan dishes, Quick service

Cons: Take out only

Fast Service and Great Food

I've gone here several times in the last few months, and have tried every flavor of their Passion Balls, as well as the summer rolls. The food is consistently great and the employees are very friendly. This is my go-to spot now, whenever I'm in the Dallas metro-area. Also, the online menu is very easy to navigate and has good descriptions of what each food is. 10/10 recommend.

Pros: Everything here is vegan., They have vegan burger choices., Fair Prices.

Cons: None!

Still open for takeout

Went for the first time yesterday and loved it. I ordered the summer rolls, chow mein, and cheesecake. The chow mein noodles were very tender and the shape does not look so perfect so I wonder if they were homemade. The cheesecake was also great and has a very smooth texture. The summer rolls were just okay. They were mostly lettuce but I wonder if they are unable to stock all ingredients like normal since business is slow from the virus. Everything still looked and tasted very fresh.

Good meal

Jeff's Vegan is a convenient option if looking for a vegan restaurant in the Frisco/Plano area. The menu is expansive but only has limited gluten free options. I've tried a few different dishes and find them all to be very flavorful. Service is consistently good as well.

Nothing really special

If your looking for something special, I would advice on going to another restaurant. They don’t necessarily focus on the flavors of food. I could of cooked better food at home.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Too many

Cons: Expensive, Super BORING, No flavors

4 stars not quite worthy of 5

It’s just a bit pricey and the environment is not really comfortable or welcoming. But overall not bad. Wish they would make small improvements and it could be great.

Pros: It’s Vegan, Food is pretty good

Cons: A bit pricey for the amount of food., The seating and general vibe are not very comfy

Not worth the price

$12 for a couple protein balls, ~3/4 cup brown rice, and 4 pieces of broccoli with a cup of sauce. Also lacking in flavor.

Pros: Vegan

Cons: Expensive, Small portions, Mediocre taste

Lemongrass Fried Rice

We also had the pineapple fire rice and both were downright delicious. Most fried rice i had prior to going vegan required me to add soy sauce so it was great not having to. Also had the sweet and sour protein balls as well as dumplings, buffalo cauliflower, and dumplings. We were not disappointed one bit with flavor but as far as price goes this place is a little on the high end for the portions that we received. We ordered to go and the staff was very helpful with making sure we knew their selections. Overall it took about 15 minutes to get our very large order. We do not go to Frisco often so I’m glad to know we have at least one spot we can visit when we are there.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Vegan desserts available , Next door to bubble tea

Pretty Ordinary

We were a bit nervous for our first visit as reviews were either very positive or quite negative. I'm not sure what the discrepancy is, but I wonder if they've gone through some changes since opening or if their staff is not very consistent.

Our experience was quite positive. It was a Saturday
around 3pm so it was quite slow. We ordered take out. The staff was very friendly and advised of our wait time. The food came out quicker than expected and was very hot.

A lot of reviews advise the food is too oily and flavorless. This was not our experience. Perhaps the owners changed how they cooked some items based on feedback.

$3.95 Pink Lady: Really Nice, not too heavy. Fruity with a nice combination of sweet and tangy. A little creamy.

$3.95 Thai Tea: Really delicious. A bit heavy (per usual) and a bit sweet. I really enjoyed it.

$4.49 Spring Rolls (4pcs fried): Really loved these. I do really enjoy spring rolls. They were fresh and flaky, even after the 20min drive home. They also had a nice flavor.

$10.95 Passion Balls in Sesame Sauce: okay, pretty ordinary. We really like sesame sauce. The sauce was nice, the 'passion balls' taste like almost every other vegan restaurant's meat analogue.

$9.95 Spicy Salt-pepper Tofu: The tofu tasted like it was air fried. It was not bad, but a little dry. We would have liked 2-3 times the amount of the sautéed onion/pepper mix.

Overall it was pretty ordinary. It reminded us a lot of a loving hut. We were happy with our meal. We do agree that for the portion sizes it was a bit expensive but only by $1-3/meal, so it's not outrageous. The staff was very friendly, helpful and prompt. The venue was nice, updated and clean. There are very few completely vegan places in the area.

We wish they would add plant plastic cups and straws and compostable take our containers.

Pros: Nice interior, Friendly and quick staff

Cons: A bit overpriced, Non compostable take out containers

Nice Selection

The menu has a great selection. Overall, the flavor of the food was a bit bland. A few friends of mine and I all commented that it lacked flavor. If they up their spice game, I would definitely give them another try. Kudos for bringing vegan options to the area.

An Incredible Find

After attending a nearby Sunday service, we found this place. Needless to say, we visited Jeff's Vegan Restaurant several times.

We enjoy everything we sample. I've had the miso soup, the hot and sour soup, the fried rice, the noodles and the cauliflower wings.

Pros: All vegan, Great selection , All delicious

Cons: A little greasy, Distance

Good food, peaceful environment

I told the waiter I had never been here before and needed gluten free. He recommended the Pad Thai - and it was delicious!! The menu is clearly marked with regard to gluten or soy free, and if something is spicy.

Lots of room at the tables. Nice music playing. Clean restrooms.

Glad I stopped in!!

Hours inaccurate

We have no idea whether they are good or not. We used our app to find the vegan restaurant in the area and after traveling all day we were starved. The website and app said they were open, but they were not open. They need to update hours so as not to be inconvenient to travelers.

Cons: Posted hours inaccurate

Vegan but not very good.

This place is like a really bad Chinese takeout place that has simply cut out all the animal products. The value a vegan restaurant can bring is providing recipes and innovative preparations you can’t find elsewhere. Most non-vegan restaurants can provide more flavorful and quality vegan options than this place. Most of the options aren’t really healthy either. Lots of white rice and sodium.

Pros: Every option is vegan.

Cons: Below average food, Poor atmosphere
