Nice vegan breakfast - Edit
This was the only breakfast that had vegan pancakes! We had the apple pancakes and tofu scramble. Breakfast was delicious and make sure to ask for vegan butter for the toast! We came here a few times for the clearly marked vegan section!

Delicious, Cute & Dog friendly - Edit
Loved the vegan pancakes & breakfast burrito. So nice to also have somewhere dog friendly -- they even gave us blankets on one of the colder mornings. Will return!

Vegan & Gluten Free Pancakes! - Edit
I have not had pancakes in years! Today, I had strawberry GF and Vegan pancakes with real maple syrup at Jeannie’s! They have several vegan options, see menu attached. They even had oat milk for my coffee. I suggest using their book ahead seating to get on the waitlist.

5 Stars Really the best breakfast in Maine - Edit
Love, love, love Jeannie’s Great Maine Breakfast! We stop here every time we come to Bar Harbor and love it more every time. Worth the wait (if you can’t get seated right away definitely get on the waitlist and they text you when your table is ready). It’s always a busy place bustling with happy breakfasters. Jeannie and her team are amazing and so considerate of their guests. The food and service is exceptional. Our vegan favorites are the spicy tofu scramble with oatmeal bread, vegan burrito and the apple spice pancakes - all vegan and all insanely delicious. The staff is always sure to point out that the breads they use with the vegan options are vegan, they have Earth Balance for vegan butter replacement, that they have almond milk for the coffee and that the jam is NOT vegan. I can’t recommend this place highly enough to vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike - they have something for everyone even gluten free and lactose intolerant ❤️

Loved this great breakfast spot! Grab a spot on the waitlist. Yummy (a bit spicy) tofu scramble and a couple vegan pancake options! They also have nondairy creamer. Oh, the strawberry rhubarb jam was awesome!!

Pancakes and several other options - Edit
Had the Apple pancakes which were delicious with their real maple syrup (had to ask for and uncharged). Also had the tofu scramble burrito with home fries that was tasty and filling. There’s about four other vegan options on the menu.

Get the real maple syrup! - Edit
I got some really delicious "Apple Spice" pancakes and I almost mistakenly got a vegan burrito. I say "almost mistakenly" because I was not hungry enough to eat both the pancakes and the burrito, but I saved the burrito for later, and wow it was still delicious even cold (good spices on their tofu).
Read moreAlso heed the review title. Ordee the real maple syrup--so much better than ehat's on the table (but note you can easily share one "single serve" side of syrup between 2-3 people).
Pros: Very sizeable portions, Decent amount of vegan options, Friendly staff
Cons: Long wait

We are going back for more - Edit
The food I had was delicious and they offer quite a few clearly marked vegan choices (see photo of menu). The pancakes were very good as was the flavor of the tofu in the scramble. It is a popular place, so expect a wait for a table. Service was fast. They have outdoor dog friendly seating. No reservations but you can go to their website to be added to their waiting list, then check in when you arrive. This may shorten your wait significantly. Closed on Tuesdays.

Went back for more and really enjoyed their vegan apple spice pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy, tasty and had a delicious apple topping. No syrup needed, in my opinion.

SOLID options - Edit
I want to preface that I’m from New York, so I’m very picky with good vegan food. This place has SOLID options. Super impressed. My non veg mom loved the pancakes too! Highly recommend

Fantastic vegan options - Edit
Delicious and very well marked vegan options! I had the pancakes and my wife had the spicy tofu scramble, both were delicious. We ordered takeout because we were starving from our morning hike and didn’t want to wait for a table — our order was ready within about 10-15 minutes of placing it online, we took a 3 minute walk and ate in the park overlooking the harbor. Fast, delicious, and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

Great breakfast options! - Edit
Only ate here once during my time in Bar Harbor, but it was delicious! Wait time for one person was 30 mins at roughly 9:30am, so the wait times aren’t great, it’s a pretty busy place.

Great! - Edit
In a place with so few options for vegans, esp for breakfast they really push the boat out with a whole section and very clear marking. Burrito was great as were the pancakes. They now indicate the jam isn’t vegan.

Yum!! - Edit
This place was so delicious we went twice! The first time I got the breakfast burrito with tofu scramble (which I usually don’t like but this was good) and they don’t skimp on the avocado which is nice. The second time I got the Apple pancakes- make sure to ask for real maple syrup otherwise you get the fake stuff. They also have soy milk for coffee.

Good options in a town without many - Edit
I appreciated the clearly labeled vegan section of the menu. I got tofu scramble with broccoli and onion and home fries, with the oatmeal toast option. I also got a single apple spice pancake. It was all good but not amazing. The tofu was too heavy of cumin or some spice, the home fries kinda bland, and the pancake a little dry and tough (though flavorful).
Read moreI have to say I’m kinda pissed after the fact, though, because my husband and I both ordered vegan items but were not warned the strawberry jam on the table isn’t vegan/vegetarian... I ate it, and I only see now from looking at reviews that others were warned. 😞

Cons: Crowded area

Clearly marked vegan options that stick to your ribs through a day of hiking in Acadia! Staff are knowledgeable about vegan food and will tell you which foods to avoid (unfortunately their strawberry rhubarb jam has gelatin.) The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

In an area where vegan options are scarce, this is an AMAZING find!! We had to wait a little bit to get a table but it was SO worth the wait! The food was absolutely delicious and if you order coffee, (they have soy milk!) the table gets a whole pot (:

Delicious vegan options for breakfast! - Edit
Had to wait about 40 mins for a table (this place is really popular.. the wait was an hour by the time we left!). Had the Island tofu scramble and a single pancake as a side order... it was a lot of food but was so delicious! They also sell bags of their own vegan pancake mix! Really glad we chose to have breakfast here: it’s probably the best breakfast I have had in an Omni restaurant!

The vegan menu was front and center on this menu. I found this to be surprising as they don't necessarily have to cater to everyone in a tourist-heavy town! Even my non-veg hubby opted for the tofu breakfast burrito.
