Chef Gayan uses traditional ingredients of Sri Lankan cuisine with a modern twist, plus there is a selection of pasta dishes. Founded by a Singalese Italian couple who respects nature. Read moreWe went with Gayan to the market to buy the vegetables for the curry, and then he showed us how to cook 6 different types of curry. He’s such a great chef, and the time we spent with him will definitely be one of the memories we’ll keep from Sri Lanka. Afterwards, we enjoyed all the food we had prepared and left his amazing place with very full and happy bellies!

This restaurant normally caters for people that stay at their vegetarian/vegan lodge and house trees, but is also open to the public.
Read moreThey prepare italian pastas and also sri lankan food. If you go for fhe sri lankan food, it is recommended that you tell them an hour or so in advance via whatsapp, as this type of food takes longer to cook.
The chef is passionate about cooking and the sri lankan menu changes accordingly to what he finds in the local market.
After 3 weeks in sri lanka we got to try new types of curry (jackfruit seed curry and mushroom curry) with this restaurant. All very tasty, including the usual curries (beetroot, okra) and sambal.
We paid 16€, which is pricier than a typical restaurant but maybe worth it because we got to try new curries.
