Absolutely lovely owners and beautifully made organic food, I’d highly recommend

Everything was home made, vegan and absolutely beautiful. Owned by three sisters and locally grown produce, I felt really satisfied and healthy after having dinner here, I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Jeju in search of healthy vegan food made with love💜🐮🐣

Pros: 10/10

5star. Delicous filling food.

We loved this place so much we visited twice for lunch. The owners were so friendly. The teas were delicous and available for sale. The food is all Korean style but plentiful and delicous. Comfortable and homely resturant.

Outrageously good

I loved the hearty, rustic perilla seed soup with dumplings, and all the side dishes including tofu, vegan meat strips, greens, fern bracken, and assorted pickled things . Such a tremendous value! The proprietor brought us dessert at the end, barley snacks and syrup to dip them in--divine! We bought a bunch of bags of those to give as gifts, but ended up eating most of them. Cozy, friendly and delicious! Nice bathroom too.

Pros: Super friendly, Delicious, Yummy snacks for sale

Local Culture

We stopped in for lunch. It is difficult to find as the sign is in Korean but definitely worth the trouble. It was a very traditional style Korean meal-all vegetarian and actually vegan except for honey. There are several choices of noodle and soup dishes! Delicious food! They are growing much of the food right on site and making the kimchi in the pots outside.

Pros: extremely friendly staff, English menu

The best homemade vegan foods in Jeju

We ordered different kinds of Bibimbap and they were very delicious. The best part of this restaurant is that their foods are all plant based and they didn't try (at least when we were there) any fake meat or dairy on their recipes which makes their foods as typical Korean homemade dishes. It was very similar to my mom's foods ;) My friend, who is vegetarian, loved radish Kimchi a lot and she was very happy that she got to try Kimchi finally in Korea since most of normal kimchi has shrimp sauce. I can't wait to visit this place again!

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Friendly

Healthy traditional food

In the four years I've now lived on Jeju, I've never found a restaurant that I love quite as much as Jayeonneuro. The two lovely ladies who prepare all the food from scratch just strike the perfect balance of traditional and healthy, and the side-dishes change depending on the season, so there're always new specialties to discover!
They're also very happy to explain cooking methods, so if you speak Korean, it's lots of fun to discuss with them!

Pros: Healthy, natural ingredients, Peaceful atmosphere, Seasonal changes

Wow

Seriously one of the best meals I've had in South Korea. I got the "oohemgdeop bap," which was a kind of bibimbap rice with nuts, gains, and beans and topped with shaved burdock. It comes with a very generous amount of side dishes. The takeaway dish was what my friend ordered: the kongguksu, or the cold soy bean milk noodle soup. My partner got the perilla noodle soup, which had boiled whole wheat chunks of hand pulled noodle. It was delicious, too. Everything was amazing, really. They sell packs of nutritional bars here for desert, too, made in house. The staff is very nice.

Pros: side dishes, atmosphere, service
