Small but delicious - Edit
I had a great flat white and a “chicken” club sandwich which was so delicious. A little pricy but definitely worth it!

Good for breakfast - Edit
Good coffee. Decaf available. Good granola bowl with coconut yogurt and chopped, spiced apple. My friend enjoyed the cinnamon roll. There's also avocado toast and some baked treats.

Not super child friendly - Edit
Stopped here for lunch, it had a very limited menu I felt. They offer half potions for kids which is good, however doesn’t feel like the most kid friendly place, no offer of highchair and no changing facilities in the toilet. The avocado on toast was nice and the chocolate croissant was very good. Probably wouldn’t return if I’m the area would rather try somewhere different.

Tasty cake - Edit
Quick and friendly service. The cake was good but I really wish it wasn't pre-cut as the edges were dry. Nice to be able to get a decent vegan cake though, and allergens were clearly labelled too.

Scandi chic - Edit
Love the scandiness of this place. Our first visit to this lovely place was just for drinks so will come again to sample the food. My americano ☕️ was just right.
Read moreEdit: return visit Saturday 23/09/23 for breakfast. I had the avocado on sourdough toast and B had heritage tomatoes on sourdough toast. Both were delicious, seasoned well and kept nice and simple. Look forward to returning to sample more of the menu.

Kala namak will change your life - Edit
Kala namak! Get the plant-based eggs. Kala namak will change your life. It's changed ours. As veggies trying to be more vegan, we know we'd miss scrambled eggs. Once you've tried theirs here as we did last month, you will immediately do as we did and hunt down kala namak (a big South Asian store will have it, it's also known as black salt) as it's the secret ingredient that finally transforms scrambled tofu (which I've had loads of times) into something that's genuinely better than scrambled eggs. I made it three times in 24 hours, it's so good. I returned today to try the original again, where they very helpfully gave me their recipe which was super similar to the one I've been using on the RainbowPlantLife website. Today I also had an excellent coconut mocha. Last time we had an incredible polenta cake. Service is sublime at both branches. Part of the reason I returned to Chester was to explore their menu further, which I'll be doing this week. It's rare that you find a place so consistently excellent.

Coffee and pastry - Edit
Popped in with my parents to grab a coffee as we passed by... thrilled to find it was completely vegan (parents less pleased)! But staff were so lovely and convinced them to try oat milk in their coffee! Even got two thumbs up from my Mum for the vegan chocolate croissant which is high praise indeed!

A Pleasant Experience - Edit
Positives:
Read more- Staff were very welcoming
- Aesthetics were clean with a bright atmosphere
- Food and service came pretty quick
Room for Improvement:
- The granola bowl was a bit tasteless, and the chicken club was way too toasted
- Very limited menu with some dishes not available
- Quite overpriced. Especially for a tiny glass of carton juice
Overview:
- We would definitely return, but I think that it'd only be for a coffee stop

My Go To Vegan Place - Edit
Of all the places I go to for food this is the one for me. Everytime I'm in Chester I visit and try something new. After a gorgeous meal and strong coffee I always get cake knowing it's also vegan. If I pass by on a bike ride I also get a coffee and some cake for the ride. Love the atmosphere in there and the staff. One time I went they didn't have a chef so no food which was disappointing.

Good but pricey - Edit
This is a really lovely place with nice drinks, really respect the fully vegan branch but I can’t deny that it definitely is fairly overpriced food wise which can be pretty standard of coffee shops like this. I still recommend a visit despite this!

came with my dog on a sunday - not only are they dog friendly but also had a water bowl and some dog biscuits!!😄
Read morei had a chicken club sandwich which was sooo tasty and reasonably priced, it was on crispy hot sourdough bread, with juicy tomatoes, this bacon, and a slice of vegan deli chicken.
i had lemonade with it which was ice cold and super refreshing, and to-go i had an iced latte (which was delicious) and a danish pastry with really tangy tasty filling. staff were all super friendly, would definitely come back!
was also pretty busy for a sunday afternoon; it seemed like they got lots of regulars, which didn’t surprise me at all!
