Nourishing vegan food in Tangalle - Edit
We shared the high protein vegan special and pineapple rice and curry. The food was excellent, felt very much like home cooking which was welcome after a few weeks travelling. Owner and staff were lovely, always so nice to eat at vegan-owned places! Just ask for the vegan menu 😊

Delicious vegan food with tofu and beans. Curry and rice was also very good. The owner is vegan so it's really easy to get vegan dishes without having to explain anything.

Das Restaurant hat mich vollkommen überzeugt. Es gibt eine gesonderte vegane Karte mit großartigen Optionen, die sich von den üblichen Gerichten der Umgebung deutlich abhebt. Meine high Protein Gericht mit Bohnen, Kichererbsen und Tofu war einmalig und auch meine nicht vegane Begleitung war begeistert. Der Besitzer selbst ist vegan und man spürt den Spirit in jeder kleinen Unterhaltung. Menschlich, kulinarisch und in Bezug auf den wohlfühlfaktor eine top Erfahrung. Ich empfehle jedem, hier einen Abstecher zu machen und die Zeit zu genießen.

An amazing place! The chef is vegan and has a vegan menu with really tasty Sri Lankan food. You’ll find rice & curry everywhere on the island, but here he also makes dishes you won’t get anywhere else. We had the High Protein Vegan Dish with rice – just magnificent – and the vegetable roti, such a delight. We also had a really nice chat with him about veganism. A great spot you really shouldn’t miss! I’m giving 4 stars only because I keep 5 stars for fully vegan restaurants.

Pleasantly Surprised - Edit
Almost passed this place up assuming the vegan options were an afterthought but it turns out they have an entire vegan menu developed by the vegan chef! Chef was very kind and rightfully proud of his work in promoting veganism in Sri Lanka. Give the unique and tasty dishes at this place a try and hopefully they'll be able to go fully vegan soon.

Arrived to Tangalle unwell, went to Jasmine’s for dinner and they made me the best soup. OMGoodness, it was delicious and healing.

Fantastic tofu and nut dish - Edit
The owner was super nice and is also a vegan and he cooked up a fantastic protein bomb dish with tofu, nuts, beans and all. Really enjoyed the place and atmosphere.
