Little for vegans - Edit
The menu changes daily but on the day I went there was little available for vegans. Everything had eggs, cheese, and/or honey. Since it was premade, you couldn’t leave off cheese or anything. I paid $4.5 for a plain green salad just to take the edge off my hunger. It was a drag.

Very few options - Edit
The staff does not seem aware of what is vegan or not. I had the tofu banh mi sandwich and it was very tasty. They don't have plant milk nor vegan dessert. Also they could use more veggies and eddible flowers from their own gardens, sad to see they are not implementing this.

Surprisingly good - Edit
I wasn't expecting much from this place but it was actually really good. The falafel wrap was filling and delicious. The dahl was 10/10, just ask for no yogurt. Have your lunch outside if you can!

Aligned with the botanical garden mission - Edit
The Restaurant du Jardin Botanique has become vegetarian in 2020. You can get to the restaurant without going inside the botanical garden (for which you need to buy a ticket to get in). It’s a cafeteria style restaurant with sandwiches, salads, desserts, coffees and a plate of the day. They also have beer and wine. Vegan options are not labeled. You need to ask what is vegan, but the staff is friendly and knows what vegan means. When I was there, they had a asian tofu wrap and a veggie pattie sandwich that were vegan. I had the asian tofu wrap which was alright. The prices are okay, you would think that since it’s located just beside the entrance of the botanical garden, it would be really expensive, but the prices were really fair (8$ for a big wrap). There is also a beautiful patio with big trees and a fountain.

Cons: Not a lot of vegan options, Vegan items not labeled
