Hidden Gem in the Park - Edit
This café is tucked away in a peaceful, tree-covered park and serves some of the freshest, most flavorful breakfast and brunch dishes I’ve had. The açaí bowl, peanut butter toast, and oatmeal were all spot on, and their lattes are just as impressive. There’s usually a line and a bit of a wait, but the serene setting and quality food make it completely worth it. A perfect spot to start the day surrounded by nature and ducks!

This restaurant is in such a wonderful location within the Jardim Botânico António Borges. I got the hummus toast with salad and was able to switch out the feta for vegan feta (though at an additional charge of an extra €1,50) which was delicious and they are willing to make accommodations for things not listed as vegan on the menu. I also got a chai latte with oat milk. Got a plant-based popsicle to-go on the way out. As for vegetarians you have plenty of options and it is a great choice for plant-based and non plant-based eaters alike! Would definitely return.

Only one actual vegan meal marked on the menu, a hummus and quinoa bowl, but we were able to get coffee with plant based milk which is nice. Nice setting.

Top Lokal bei dem easy auch vegane Optionen zu bekommen sind. Konnte bei meinem Hummus Brot problem los gehen veganen Feta tauschen. Zudem gibts Milchalternative, die aber leider (und das noch im Jahr 2025) - 0.50€ Aufpreis kosten. Das ist dann auch schon der größte Minuspunkte.
Read moreIch würde empfehlen entweder relativ zeitnah nach der Öffnung aufzutauchen oder wenn dann die erste Runde durch ist (so ca. 1h oder noch länger später) sonst muss man warten da die Plätze heiß begehrt sind. Die Pancakes 🥞 sind auch nicht schlecht - leider aber nicht vegan.

Large selection of local teas and oh my...a real coffee brewed expertly by an experienced young man that knows how to brew a V-60 pour over coffee. Four selections of beans. Costa Rican, Bolivian, Brazilian and Rwandan. AWESOME.
We are on the island another 8 days so we will make it a point to return.

Vegan options and milk for coffee available - Edit
We found this place by accident while looking for a nice coffee and it turned out to be very good. We had a latte macchiato and a chai Latte. They had soy milk, among others, and a very filling peanut butter oat meal, and also ice cream, which I didn't try but looked delicious. The staff is very knowledgeable, they took their time to explain all the options they had available.
