OK Asian options, really need to verify whether the items are vegan or not

I've eaten at Japanika several times, but I wasn't really impressed. When ordering (even from the tablet vegan menu) staff was confused about which items might have egg, which sauces were or weren't vegan, and in general could not answer specific questions about ingredients. In the end, the sushi I tried one time was OK, but Inside Out Sushi on Masada is much better, and the curry I tried another time was not very flavorful.

Pros: vegan menu

Cons: staff confused about vegan items, not super flavorful
